Image: Deontay Wilder wants Tyson Fury, but doesn't see him taking the fightBy Scott Gilfoid: American heavyweight knockout artist Deontay Wilder (24-0, 24 KO’s) is very interested in taking on 24-year-old Tyson Fury and showing him who the better fighter is if he’s interested. I kind of doubt Fury is interested in facing a talent like Wilder, because Fury already passed up a chance to fight David Price.

Wilder told Uk.fighthype.com “I would like a fight with him as soon as possible, but he’s a coward. He won’t fight anyone he knows he has a high chance of losing against. He shown that himself when he handed David Price his commonwealth belt.”

Ouch! That hurts. Man, I sure wish Fury would step up to the plate and take on Wilder, because I’d love to see what Wilder would do to Fury after he connects with one of his concussive sledgehammer right hands to Fury’s jaw. We’ve already see Fury get hurt and knocked down a number of times during his short career against heavyweights that can’t even punch. Just imagine what Wilder would do to Fury if he was able to smack him around the ring for four rounds.

Heck, the light hitting Fury would have to run for the hills to keep from getting knocked out, because if he stops and tries to slug with Wilder he’s getting stretched.

Every fight that heavyweight talent Wilder has taken part in his ended with him knocking his opponent out inside four rounds, and thus far no one has gotten close to being able to handle his huge sledgehammer right hand power. Compared to the slightly younger 2012 top Olympian heavyweights like Anthony Joshua and Ivan Dychko, Wilder is much more powerful and faster as well.

Tyson Fury would be no different from the guys that Wilder has been teeing off on since he turned pro in 2008. Once Fury tastes some of Wilder’s power, he’d be laying on the canvas wondering what hit him.
