That’s an admirable goal to be sure, but before the 6’5″ Harrison can get to that point he’s going to have to prove that he can a least beat domestic level fighter British heavyweight champion David Price (13-0, 11 KO’s) on October 11th at the Echo Arena, in Liverpool, UK.

Perhaps for the only time in his career, Harrison will be the smaller guy compared to the 6’8″ Price. However, the size advantage that Price has going for him may actually work in Harrison’s favor because he won’t have to punch down on his opponent like he usually does. Harrison, a southpaw, loses power by having to aim his shots at shorter opponents. With Price, his big lantern jaw will be right there waiting for Harrison to smack him and knock him cold.

Harrison told thesun.co.uk “I’m going to enjoy this on October 13…Obviously the aim is to win a world title. I’ve blazed a trail…I’m going to stay on course until I finish my way.”

All Harrison has to do to win this fight is land one good left hand on Price’s chin and he should have him wobbling around the ring. Harrison has the athletic ability, the power and the size to connect with a peach of a left hand on Price’s chin. The only thing that will keep Harrison from potentially doing this is he himself. If he chickens out and fights scared, Price will no doubt stalk him, batter him, and stop him in that order.

Harrison can’t just give the fight away because he’s running out of chances. This is the perfect fight because he’s taking on a guy with a questionable chin. Harrison needs to go for broke early before Price has had a chance to get his offense started.
