Image: Pacquiao-Bradley judges cleared by NSAGBy Chris Williams: According to fightnews.com, the Nevada State Attorney General has completed the probe of the judges that rendered the verdict in the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight, and they “No evidence of wrong doing” from the judges. The results of their probe are being sent to Top Rank Promotions.

Well, there it is. Pacquiao lost to Bradley and the results are going to stand. I guess all Pacquiao can do now is suck it up and accept the loss like most fighters do when they get beaten. Pacquiao can always try and avenge the defeat if he can talk his promoter Bob Arum into letting him take the rematch. Somehow I don’t see that happening. I figured this was going to be the results when Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum decided to have the fight results investigated. The fact of the matter is Pacquiao failed to fight hard enough through major portions of each round and would then come alive with 30 seconds left to try and win the round with a flurry.

It’s an old veteran trick that aging fighters often use when they can no longer fight hard for the full three minutes of every round. This wasn’t lost on Bradley, who then focused on outworking Pacquiao like he’d been doing and then staying away from him in the last 30 seconds when Pacquiao would try and come on to win the round. It’s too bad Pacquiao didn’t make any adjustments by putting forth more of an effort in the earlier and middle parts of the round because he would have done a lot better had he done that.
