Haye plans on knocking Chisora out well before the 12th round, and he’s got a pair of practice mitts with Chisora’s face printed on both of the mitts so that Haye can tee off on them while training.

Haye told thesun.co.uk “If anyone thinks this fights going the distance they better think again. There’s one winner and it ain’t going to be Chisora.”

Haye wants to make an example of Chisora in order to shut him up and also show the difference between his performance against Chisora and WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko’s performance. Vitali had a hard time beating Chisora last February in a fight where Vitali looked exhausted from the pressure that Chisora was putting on him. Haye plans on using a knockout victory over Chisora as a springboard to put pressure on Vitali in to fighting him. Its’ going to be hard for Vitali to say no to a big fight against Haye if he’s able to KO Chisora the same way that Haye has taken out heavyweights like John Ruiz, Monte Barrett and Audley Harrison.

Chisora will be looking to try and get inside on Haye to work on him the way he did Vitali and Robert Helenius. Chisora doesn’t like movement and does a poor job of cutting off the ring against fighters that circle.

The fight will likely be a sellout at Upton Park. There’s not much of an undercard, but with a fight like this it’s really not important.
