Haye was scary good in this fight, knocking Chisora down twice in the 5th round. After the second knockdown, the referee wisely stopped the massacre.

After the fight, Haye said “I’ve sent a very scary message. I’ll be surprised if Vitali Klitschko wants to fight me after that. He will no doubt try to fight some chump and then retire to be a politician.”

Haye is so right. I don’t think Vitali wants any part of Haye after what he did to Chisora tonight. Vitali looked terrible in beating Chisora last February, and could barely breath at the end of the fight from the pressure Chisora was putting on him. Haye made it look effortless in dominating Chisora tonight with his fast combinations and power shots.

Haye toyed with the much bigger and much slower Chisora in the first four rounds, hitting him with fast shots and avoiding the few punches that Chisora was willing to throw. Chisora looked afraid to let his hands go for fear of being countered by Haye. In the 5th, Haye caught Chisora with a nice left-right combination that put Chisora down on the canvas. He made it up but he probably should have stayed down because he wasn’t going to make it out of the round, not with Haye ready to pounce on him. Haye then landed several nice right hands that put Chisora down for the second time in the fight. It all over at that point with the referee waiving off the fight.
