Image: Fury wants Haye-Chisora winnerBy William Mackay: Tyson Fury 18-0, 13 KO’s) hasn’t even gotten past his opponent Vinny Maddalone scheduled for Saturday, yet Fury is already looking past him, hoping he can get the winner of the July 14th clash between David Haye and Dereck Chisora. The chances probably aren’t good right now, because Fury hasn’t proven himself to be a huge draw.

However, if Fury can look impressive in beating Maddalone, he’ll increase his chances. His chances still won’t be good either way, because Chisora was already beaten by him, and I doubt he has any interested in facing Fury again. Haye is only interested in facing big stars, and Fury is far from that at this early stage in his career.

Fury told RingTV “I’d knock David Haye into next month. David Haye hasn’t got the ability to stand up with a big guy like me.”

I think it might be more the other way around. I think Fury would have a hard time standing up to Haye’s shot, because he at least can punch. Fury isn’t a big puncher at all. He’s just a big slapper, and he beats his opponents by slapping them into submission. The sad part about Fury is that he’s never really fought anyone before. Chisora is the only decent fighter on Fury’s resume, and he was 20 pounds overweight for their fight. I think Fury would have a real hard time beating Chisora in a rematch with him coming in excellent shape.

I’d like to see Fury face the winner of the Haye vs. Chisora fight, but the only way it happens is if the winner can’t get a fight against one of the Klitschkos. Fury will be the only one available for them, because David Price is still being spoon fed and he’s not going to be pushed into a fight against big punchers like Chisora or Haye.
