This is an interesting fight between it matches two huge 6’7″ heavyweights with a lot talent. Wilder, 26, is really taking a big step up for this fight and it’s going to be a pleasure to see how he performs.

Price has a notable six-round split decision win over Tor Hamer from two years ago, and that shows you the kind of talent that Price has going for him because Hamer is a quality fighter. Other than one fight, Price has pretty much faced no named fighters that he’s easily beaten.

Wilder, a former 2008 Olympic heavyweight bronze medalist for the United States, is still being brought along slowly so that he can develop his defense, jab and left hand to go along with huge huge right handed power. Wilder’s right hand is arguably the biggest power punch in boxing right now. However, still needs to add the defense, jab and left hand components before he’ll be ready to go after one of the Klitschko brothers for a world title. Wilder sees himself breaking the top 10 by the end of the year in the heavyweight division, and he believes he can get a title shot by next year sometime.

Wilder looked sensational in his last fight beating Owen Beck by a 3rd round stoppage last month in a four knockdown performance from Wilder. Each time he landed cleanly with one of his bazooka right hands, Beck would hit the deck.

A lot of boxing fans are catching on about the talent that Wilder has, and they realize that this man is going to be a star in the heavyweight division in a very short time. There’s no out there that can stop him once the Klitschkos are out of the picture.
