Khan usually doesn’t promise knockouts but he’s doing it this time because he’s fed up with the two of them.

Khan said this as quoted by Sky Sports News “I will knock Danny Garcia out and win the titles. I will knock him out and if his dad wants it afterwards…That will shut his dad up anyway…I’m going to hurt his son. I’m going to do it in the ring. I can’t wait until after the fight when I’ve knocked him out.”

Angel Garcia has recently said that Khan is just an average fighter who has been given a lot of press because in the UK they make a big deal out of their fighters compared to the U.S. Angel doesn’t see Khan as being a talented fighter.

Khan will be playing into Garcia’s game if he goes looking for a knockout, because Garcia likes to slug with his opponents. I don’t think Khan can beat him fighting like that. Garcia has the better power and the better chin. Khan’s main assets is his hand speed, mobility and boxing skills. Khan needs to focus on that and forget about trying to KO Garcia. If he goes down that road then he’ll be putting himself at risk of getting knocked out.

The way I see this thing playing out is Khan will try and slug early on like he always does, and if he’s not knocked out in the first two or three rounds by foolishly slugging, Khan will then start running around the ring using his different fouling strategies that he often uses in his fights. If the referee chooses to ignore the fouling like a lot of other referees have done in the past, Khan will win the fight.
