It’s not expected that the WBO will do anything other than order a rematch, which is what Bradley wants anyway.

WBO president Franciso Valcarcel told RingTV “We are taking the scorecards of our five international judges and comparing them to those of the judges of the fight. We’re trying to find the most controversial rounds and see where they agree and disagree. And then, we will compare that to the scorecards of the three judges who worked the fight.”

It seems like a big waste of time to have had any investigation at all, because clearly the three judges did their job and saw what was painfully obvious in the fight that Bradley out-boxed Pacquiao. Bradley worked three minutes of every round, while Pacquiao did little for the first 2 1/2 minutes of every round and would then try and come on in the last 30 seconds to try and win the round.

It was like watching a smaller version of Arthur Abraham the way that Pacquiao would come alive suddenly in the last tail end of the round by throwing a flurry of shots with most of them missing. The crowd, heavily in Pacquiao’s favor, cheered him regardless of how many times he missed.

If the WBO does actually strip Bradley of his title and give it to Pacquiao, it’s going to look really bad. I guess Pacquiao will probably accept the title, but I think it will look wrong if he does. Even if the WBO strips Bradley and leaves the WBO strap vacant for Pacquiao to fight for, it will still look really bad. With Pacquiao’s two controversial decisions over Juan Manuel Marquez, it will look bad that there weren’t rematches ordered in those fights or Pacquiao’s title stripped from him.
