Khan didn’t like his latest defeat, and had a lot of excuses for the loss, blaming it on judges, the mystery man and now steroids.

I personally think Khan simply got beat and he couldn’t handle it.

Khan said to eastsideboxing.com’s On the Ropes Boxing Radio show “I have tasted defeat before and I don’t want to taste defeat again…I really believe I’m going to knockout Danny Garcia.”

I hope Khan doesn’t put all his eggs in one basket on July 14th and end up getting knocked cold by leaving his fragile chin open for one of Garcia’s big shots. Khan tends to throw a lot of flurries where he doesn’t protect his glass chin. And his flurries are wild shots that waste energy with little accuracy.

It’s fine when Khan is facing a weak opponent that can’t fight, because he can risk getting knocked out without much worry involved. But now that he’s finally stepped it up against a qualty fighter after 9 years as a pro, bad things can happen if Khan goes gunning for a knockout against Garcia.

I think it’s a bad idea for a fighter with a weak chin like Khan to ever go looking for a knockout, because he doesn’t have the physical tools to fight in that kind of manner. He’s the type that needs to be running around the ring all night long in order to keep from having his chin checked by his opponents. All Garcia needs is one good shot and he’ll have Khan stumbling around and counting stars on his back.
