Image: Deontay Wilder to show his one-punch power against Beck this SaturdayBy Scott Gilfoid: If you want to see a future world heavyweight champion then you need to watch unbeaten heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (22-0, 22 KO’s) this Saturday night, because he’s going to be shining bright against Owen Beck (29-10, 20 KO’s) in a fight that’s scheduled for eight rounds but will likely be little more than one or two rounds at beat at the Killer Buzz Arena in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Wilder, 26, is one of boxing’s future stars and he’s only waiting to bust out to show the world his great talent. Wilder’s right arm should be bronzed because he’s power that hasn’t been seen in the heavyweight division since a young George Foreman blasted out Joe Frazier in 1973.

That’s the kind of power that Wilder possesses. He’s been opening eyes of fans and boxing writers since he turned pro with his stunning one-punch knockout wins. He’s not only dominating his opponents, but he’s also been getting the better of some of the biggest names in the heavyweight division in sparring sessions.

Wilder will waste little time on Saturday night against Beck. He’s not going to let this guy get any false hopes that he can win by taking it easy on him. What Wilder will do is go out on a seek and destroy mission with his right hand looping to level Beck with each shot he throws.

The only way I can see Beck surviving for more than a few rounds is if he puts on his track shoes and sprints around the ring to try and avoid Wilder’s sledgehammer right hands. However, the 36-year-old Beck doesn’t have the wheels to do much running against the tall powerhouse Wilder. I think Beck can run for maybe one or two rounds, but after that Wilder will catch up to him and annihilate him with one perfectly placed big right hand.
