Don’t expect for Price to be facing a quality opponent, because that’s not going to happen. He’s going to be put in with another soft guy that he can mow down and look good in the process. It won’t be a guy with power, because his management obviously doesn’t want to see Price get knocked out before he’s turned into whatever he’s going to be. I don’t see him ever making it as a star in the sport, because he came up short in the amateur ranks when he was tested against the big punching Roberto Cammarelle and Bermane Stiverne. There are a lot of heavyweights that have power that is similar to those guys.

It looks as if the soon to be 29-year-old Price is being positioned to try and become a star in the U.S.

I wish him a lot of luck, because the 6’8″ Price won’t make it unless he faces some live bodies. He won’t win a huge fan base fighting the guys he’s been facing. Domestic level opposition or obscure journeyman won’t get Price anywhere. There are plenty of U.S heavyweights that are mowing down those kinds of fighters and none of them are even coming close to becoming a star.

Price, because of his age, he needs to be brought along much quicker than normal heavyweights because he’s starting out so late. He’s about the same age as Audley Harrison when he started his pro career, and we’ve seen what a disappointment he’s been.
