Froch told Sky Sports News “I think there are 30,000 seats in the stadium and then we’ve also got the pitch so you could be looking close to 40,000 people. It would be phenomenal…With Kessler, it’s going be a man’s fight…I like to fight, and I’m going to get one of them with Kessler, and it’s a fight 100 per cent I know I can win.”

With Froch’s remark about it being a “A man’s fight,” he’s likely getting in a little dig in on WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward, who fought felt did little more than smother and spoil in beating him last December. Froch felt that Ward didn’t want to just stand and trade with him, and instead looked to get in close to keep Froch from letting his shots go.

Froch said to ESPN “Andre Ward sat on my chest. He was too close. He’s good at what he does; it’s within the rules, but it’s not an exciting fight.”

Ward doesn’t fight the same way that Froch does, and it’s doubtful that he would be good at fighting that way, because he likes to make his opponents miss with their shots, and he also prefers to fight on the inside against his opposition.

Kessler beat Froch last time, but the fight took place in Denmark, Kessler’s home. Froch felt that Kessler got the hometown edge, and still believes he would have won the fight if it had taken place in Nottingham. Froch may get that chance to prove it, because Kessler has already agreed to fight him in the UK. If the fight takes place in front of 40,000 fans, Kessler will likely be open to that as well.
