NABF News – Feb. 15, 2012

President’s Report – February 2012

February is off to a bad start, with the passing of Goody Petronelli, Wayne Kelly (New York referee), and Angelo Dundee.

I was privileged to represent the NABF/WBC at Angelo’s funeral with Avel Gonzalez. President Sulaiman sent a WBC Championship belt, which we presented to Angelo’s son, Jimmy, and daughter, Terry. They were most appreciative. Top Rank was well represented by Bob Arum, Bruce Trampler, Carl Moretti, Brad Jacobs, and Miguel Diaz. In addition, Russell and Linda Peltz were in attendance.

Please keep Bismark Morales in your prayers, as he had a very serious accident and is hospitalized at this moment. His wife, Maria Elena, can be reached at 305-310-7091, but please keep the call brief.

All the best,
