Adamek vs. Nagy Aguilera on March 24th

by Sylwester Jankowski (BoxingNews.pl): Former two division champion and current heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO) has announced the name of his next opponent. Adamek will face a 25-years old fighter from Dominican Republic, Nagy Aguilera (17-6, 12 KO). The bout will take place on March 24th on undercard, at which the main event of the show will feature a bout between Zab Judah and Vernon Paris which it’s going to be an eliminator for International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior welterweight title. The show will take place at Aviator Sports Complex in New York and will be televised by NBC Sports.

- Aguilera is a good fighter. Among other things he has fought with Antonio Tarver and Chris Arreola, who I defeated. This is a kind of opponent who I needed to tune up. The break was long. I can’t wait I’ll enter the ring. I want to fight and win, that’s why I decided to fight in March even though I could wait until June. I don’t want to waste the time. – Adamek told Polish journal “Fakt”.
