From the office of WBC President Dr. José Sulaimán:
The Burton Bloms Foundation received the WBC champions, who shared food and time with the students.
Jhonny Gonzalez, Robinson Castellanos, Zulina Muñoz, Paulina Cordana, Orlando Rizo, Ultiminio Ramos, Victor Rabanales, Isaac Bustos, and Carlos Zarate were the fighters that shared their experiences with the 35 youngsters of the foundation.
The father Burton Bloms began this project in 1991 with the idea of helping youngsters from 11 to 16 years old who have no resources so they can keep studying to reach their goals.
WBC Cares program coordinator, Christiane Manzur, was the one who presented the champions and invited the kids to express their concerns, all of whom were very interested in all what the champions said.
Mercedes Fernandez del Busto, who is in charge of Fundraising, received the champions and gave them a tour of the place where they promote not only study, but moral and spiritual values as well.
