However, Vitali says he had problems with trying to negotiate a fight with Haye when they recently tried to put together a fight. Vitali was finally forced to abandon his efforts due to Hayes unrealistic requests during the negotiations.

Vitali told the guardian.co.uk “I have a dream to fight David Haye, but we are miles away from making the contract because it is so difficult to talk to David Haye and his lawyers. He thinks he is world champion. “I hope it is a fight coming true. I had a dream that we would build for Euro 2012 a big stadium in Ukraine … in Germany 60,000 people are coming to the stadium. I am more than sure that if the fight was in Ukraine the stadium will be full.”

It’s not going to be easy for Vitali to put a fight together with the Brit because Haye still seems to be coming from a belief that he deserves to be an even playing field with Vitali despite being dominated last July by Vitali’s younger brother Wladimir Klitschko in a one-sided loss for Haye in Germany. Haye fought like a timid cat, running all night long and not even trying to win the fight.
