Ward: Froch needs to take a tune-up fight before facing Bute
By Scott Gilfoid: Andre Ward doesn’t agree that Carl Froch should go straight from a loss against him into an important fight against IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute. Ward thinks Froch needs a tune-up before taking that kind of fight, and I agree. I think Froch will pull a major dumb move if he [...]

By Sean McDaniel: Since successfully beating Breidis Prescott by a 12 round unanimous decision last September in a WBA light welterweight title eliminator bout in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Paul McCloskey (23-1, 12 KO’s) has kind of been the forgotten man in the division. The title fight that he had hoped would come with the Prescott [...]

By Sean McDaniel: Light welterweight contender Paul McCloskey (23-1, 12 KO’s) was feeling no sympathy for Amir Khan’s latest complaints that he was judged unfairly in his 12 round decision loss to Lamont Peterson. Khan was docked two points in the fight for shoving Peterson and as it turns out that was enough to tip [...]
Cotto needs to give Margarito a rematch

Khan needs to stop running and conserve his energy in his fights
By Chris Williams: If there’s a one thing that really stands out in Amir Khan’s fights against Marcos Maidana and Lamont Peterson it’s the amount of running that Khan did when experiencing pressure from these fighters. Khan literally couldn’t stand his ground and was backpedaling or circling the ring throughout both fights.
