Wladimir: I have a glass jaw, so I don’t want Mormeck to hit me

By William Mackay: IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) is amused about his 39-year-old challenger Jean Marco Mormeck (36-4, 22 KO’s) saying he’s going to break Wladiimir’s glass jaw on December 17th at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Wladimir told the Dailymotion.com “He [Mormeck] said I’m going to take your belts and break your glass chin. Those threats are dangerous and I’m getting a little nervous and scared. I can lose by belts, so I want to make sure I’m going to be in shape. I want to make a checkmate, and a checkmate in boxing is a KO. And I want to knock out Jean Marco Mormeck. I won’t want to offend you, because I have a jaw made of glass, so I don’t want to get hit.”
Unlike his last fight against former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, Wladimir doesn’t have much to work with in promoting this fight. Mormeck doesn’t speak English and hasn’t been nearly as good as Haye was in helping to hype the fight. As such, Wladimir has done a lot of himself and seems to be repeating the same quotes as he’s used since the promoting of the fight began.
This fight is a mismatch and Wladimir needs help if he’s going to make this a big fight. Right now the Wladimir-Mormeck fight is perceived as a total mismatch and few fans are interesting in seeing it. I’m sure a lot of boxing fans will tune in to see it just so they can follow Wladimir, but it’s not fight that you’ll want to put off something special just to see it.

Wladimir will do his usual good work. Like Jab jab jab jab left hook, jab jab jab right hook . Over and over again till Mormeck gets enough of jabs.
Klitschko vs anyone is a mismatch.

Seriously has anything happened in the HW division since Haye left?! lol Love him or hate him at least people were talking about HW boxing, it’s gone downhill again as soon as he’s gone.
Wlad is being forced into (sarcastically) bigging up his own opponent to generate interested in his own bout! Tells you all you need to know about the excitement in the division.

The promotion of this fight is pure bullsh–. Sticks and stones may break my glass jaw but names will never hurt me.
If Haye didnt hurt him knowone will. Helenius is too slow and wont get a chance to clip him. Areolla runs a Kamakazi show and its just a matter of him being picked off. Seth Mitchell is stiffer than Vitali and half the waats. Its sad that Wlads goota go this line. I say Klitschko UD.
