For the very first time in history, a boxing organization opens its doors and invites all the fans and boxing lovers to the 49th WBC Annual Convention, an event where all the greatest boxers, referees, promoters, judges and representatives from all the affiliate organizations will attend from all around the world.
Meet, greet, take pictures and ask for autographs with the greatest boxing stars from the past and present: Oscar de la Hoya, Terry Norris, Hector “Macho” Camacho, Mike Tyson, Bernard Hopkins, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez, Larry Holmes, Jeff Fenech, Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez, Carlos Ortiz, Vitali Klitschko, Carlos Zarate, Pipino Cuevas, Floyd Mayweather, and many others!
Las Vegas makes history once again because it will have the event where all the international boxing stars will reunite and it also will see clinics and medic presentations, approvals of world rankings, mandatory challengers designations in the 17 divisions, seminars for referees and judges. WBC enforce the rules force Chavez jr to fight Martinez or strip him!!
Also if Chavez jr vacates force a Martinez vs Rubio fight.
You have many good fighters, it’s not about watching a fighter go undefeated thru out there boxing career when they are only boxing beaten up, tired, not even focused fighters (citron, Gomez,Manfredo)
you have many great fighters for a potential of many true PPV fights!
Who wants to pay $64.00 to watch Chavez jr fight some guy that retired 3 years ago or watch Canelo fight a fighter who has not beaten anyone in the last 4 years and flew out the top ropes when he missed a punch two fights ago.
You want PPV money you should focus on all the fighters not two very unproven fighters .
Yes they are young so everyone claims but they are crowned champs force them to fight top contenders instead of allowing them to fight fighters out of the couch.
What’s up with moving manfredo to the top #5 before the chavez fight,, WBC clean up and get boxing to be honest again.
