Terri Moss Updates!

Retired WBIF/WIBA straw weight champion Terri Moss was awarded the Most Influential Person in Boxing Award, and the Critics Choice for the Georgia Boxing Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 5 by the Georgia Fighter’s Association. Terri also accepted an award for her former trainer Xavier Biggs, placing him in the Georgia Boxing Hall of Fame, and stood by as her fighter, junior lightweight Jackie Breitenstein (6-1, 5 KO) received the Georgia Female Fighter of The Year award. “It means a lot to be awarded by my peers and critics,” Terri said, and acknowledged Xavier’s appreciation in his absence. Jackie Breitenstein promised a lot more excitement to come in her career as she returns to the ring December 3.

Terri also held her third Atlanta Corporate Fight Night on November 3, and the evening hosted the reunion of the 1984 Olympic Boxing Team, who were all present. Atlanta Corporate Fight Night 3 was held at the Foundry at Puritan Mills, and raised funds for Stand Up For Kids. The ’84 Olympic Boxing Team Reunion was organized by Xavier Biggs, whose brother Tyrell, was a gold medalist. “It was an amazing evening, to have all these Olympians together again, as a team for the first time,” Terri said. “The bond they shared as a team has not diminished with time, nor have their accomplishments as the greatest Olympic boxers.”
