Selcuk Aydin defeats Jo-Jo Dan by a 12 round decision

This time the result is very clear absolutely no doubt. Jo Jo should just blame his game plan and his corner. For those who believe that Jo Jo won the fight: Pls count how many times Jo Jo has been unconscious during the fight + count how many times Jo Jo hit the gloves of Aydin successfully!. It looked like a training session … no power in the punches and very accurate on the gloves … This does not bring any point in boxing. I guess Aydin with 380 amateur fights was well aware of the unimportance of punches that Jo jo was throwing. Also look at how Jo Jo was shaking in at least one third of punches that Aydin threw!. For fans of Jo Jo: I know that it is hard for you to accept the reality but please show respect to boxing ( if you like ) and try to be objective independent of your nationality !.

You think that there were knockdowns in 3rd and 5th rounds? It is obvious that they were not. It might be due to the slippery surface. What I think is that the referee should order to clean the surface during fight. And as you did not mention, it happened to DAN also. and the referee did not count that one either… That’s why you cannot look at the game objectively…
And I am tired of continuing this…
But I respect your ideas which I think make you and Dan’s fans happy…

@ Alex and K1, well i guess you have your opinion just has much i have mind on this fight, it’s not about think like “i must be a fan of Jo Jo Dan” it have no link at all, i think Lucian Bute was KO in the first fight again Librado Andrade as well, so does it meen am a Librado Andrade fan ??? not at all, i am a boxing fan, a real boxing fan, the kind of boxing fan who take a plane from Canada to see a fight in Finland between Carl Froch and Arthur Abraham…and one think about boxing i don’t like is steal and robery, those think kill the sport, i don’t care where a fighter is from, but when a fighter win a fight, he win a fight, and Jo Jo Dan won this fight, point and simple…yes Jo Jo Dan was more injured at the end of the fight then Selcuk Aydin was, that true, but if you only look at who is the more injured boxer to determind who won and lost a fight Arturo Gatti whould never have won a fight of his life, some fighter are realy easy to injured, and some other don’t cut and are never injured…but it have no link about who have won the fight…well that my opinion

Points are nowadays more important than in the past, but I still agree with k1.
Aydin have won the fight, and also I don’t believe that you can win a round with points where you have been knocked down!!

How come you can say that Dan won the fight? Yeah, in order to say it, you should be a fanatic of Ionat Dan…
I watched the youtube video too. But there is nothing like you mentioned there…
Jo Jo was hurt a lot… Also you forgot to mention about the broken jaw and the surgery because of that… Aydin put the harder, and more countable punches…
But you guys from Romania, and Canada, are somehow not accepting it…no way…

just finish watch this fight on youtube…wow that was a HUGE STEAL !!! i mean HUGE STEAL…i gave 10 of the 12 round to Jo Jo Dan, on my scorecard i split the two first round, after i gave the round 3,4,5,6 to Jo Jo Dan, i gave the 7 round to Selcuk Aydin, i gave the 8,9,10,11 (i have to explain this one) and 12 to Jo Jo Dan as well. for a result on 10 round to 2 for Jo Jo Dan…(for the 11 round, i gave it to Jo Jo Dan even if he have been knockdown on this round cause Dan landed something like 100 punch on Selcuk Aydin on this round, Selcuk Aydin only landed 1 punch on this round, but this punch was the knockdown punch…that why i still gave this round to Jo Jo Dan…i guess base on that you can give a draw to this round but no ways you can give this round to Selcuk Aydin).

also on this fight, Jo Jo Dan was knockdown twice, that true and both where legit, i agree with that…but Selcuk Aydin was also knockdown twice, at the beginning of the 3 round and at the end of the 5 round (both those knockdown where rule as a slip, but that was far far away from being the true, both these knockdown came from punch clearly and should have been count)…but even without those knockdown havent been count, Jo Jo Dan clearly won this fight…you just have to look at the reaction of Selcuk Aydin at the end of the fight, everybody on the corner of Jo Jo Dan have the arm on the air and Selcuk Aydin started pusched every corner men because he was angry cause he know he lost the fight.

as for the cut on both eye of Jo Jo Dan, well one clearly came from a headbutt…and the other one i didn’t see where it came from (can be a punch or not)

but i would be currius to see the punching stat from this fight…should be something like 450 landed for Jo Jo Dan and 100 landed maximum for Selcuk Aydin…it just to show you how much this fight wasn’t even close

it look to me like another fight of a Romanian fighter, that fight look just like the last fight between Lucian Bute and Glen Johnson…Bute punching a lot and landing everything and johnson punching a lot and landing notting…well the fight between Selcuk Aydin and Jo Jo Dan was totally looking like that…a HUGE STEAL…Jo Jo Dan is the real WINNER of this one…you don’t have to believe me just look the fight on youtube yourself

I had it 113-112 Aydin. Dan won the two rounds he was knocked down in. The point deduction came in a bit late. It’s as if the ref was trying to make up for something that happened earlier.

The ref did not allow any inside fighting, knowing Aydin is a dirty figther, I guess. That played in Dan’s favor. Dan could have been stopped had the ref allowed some inside fighting to carry on.

Good competitive bout. Aydin showed that he is not good enough to fight the best in his division yet.

It would be better if they fought outside Turkey but it was a great fight.. Both fighters has a great heart especially jojo dan who fought aydin in Turkey, but the right guy won this time.
