By Scott Brown: Save the fights for professionals this Wednesday. That is exactly what Hitz boxing intends to while by providing boxing entertainment.

The Thanksgiving Eve Belvedere Bash goes down tonight, Nov 23, at the Belvedere Banquet in Elk Grove Village, IL. This fight serves as a public courtesy to the Chicago land area especially on Black Wednesday. Black Wednesday draws a treasure trove of freaks out since most of the folks have the next day off. Enjoy it in style and leave the fights for professionals because we don’t want to see weak pushing battles on the dance floor.

The fight card has a mix of local prospects from the Chicago area, MMA crossovers, and some veterans. Terry Martin, an exciting MMA striker with a MMA record of 22-9, has his fifth fight as professional boxer and is looking for his 5th knockout. Martin will be involved in a Cruiserweight battle with Kia Daniels. Another hard hitting showdown is the battle between the Chicago Gold Glove winner Eric Correa vs. Keon Graham. Eric Correa looks to make his debut and make a splash with his power. Eric Correa is known for his “strenf” because of his special circuit training with heavy objects such tractor tires, stones, and medicine balls. Eric Correa should have an opportunity to display this power as his opponent has lost a few in a row by KO. David “Diesel” Latoria, another Chicago native, will face Raymundo Lopez in a heavyweight match. David who is undefeated showed good stamina and fortitude in his last KO win last fight in May. An additional undefeated prospect is also ready for view. Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez carries a record of 4-0 into the next super middleweight fight vs. James Denson. Denson looks to recapture his winning ways as his record has dropped to 4-5. In one of the most experienced fights of the night, two veterans go after it. John Lewus versus Allen Litzau. Lewus has fought for IBF and USBA super bantamweight title. Lewus looks to inch closer to another possible fight for a belt in this match.

With the holidays already here, Get out your aggression before your family shows up. Have a drink and let the professionals do the fighting. No need for domestic calls. Enjoy the boxing match, take in the quaint environment, and then it’ll be Turkey Day.
