A great fighter. RIP.
Lyle’s fight against Foreman was incredible… what a warrior. Thanks for a wonderful career and we will not forget you. Rest in peace.
Rip Big Ron, you were intertaining.
Sad, the boxers from the 70′ies is beginning to leave this earth. R.i.p. big Ron.
The fighters back then can be lucky that the Klits didn’t compete back then. There is a sort of myth about the 70′ies heavies and most is based on old time gossip and rose tinted glasses. These fighters gave it their all and they made it for exiting bouts. Big ROn was one of the most exiting and colourfull. He was clearly winning over Ali, when the ref stepped in and stopped the figt in order to save Don Kings million dollar baby and moneymaker.
You and your golden generation will never be forgotten Ron, may you rest in peace
