Mayweather Sr. saw Marquez winning the fight and feels he got ripped off by the judges.

This pretty much echoes the thoughts of the entire boxing world apart from a small segment of fans that think Pacquiao did enough to retain his title.

Speaking on eastsideboxing.com’s On the Ropes Boxing Radio program, Mayweather Sr. said “That [Marquez whipping Pacquiao] was so clear to see a blind man could see it. Marquez beat the hell out of Pacquiao. It was hands down. Nobody can dispute it in no kind of way…If he fights little Floyd like that, you can forget it. It’s over. He [Pacquiao] don’t even have a prayer.”

Pacquiao doesn’t even have a prayer no matter how he fights Floyd. Pacquiao doesn’t have the legs anymore to beat a guy like Mayweather Jr. A 2009 version of Pacquiao might have given Mayweather problems with his hopping around the ring from side to side. However, Pacquiao hasn’t been able to fight like that since his win over Miguel Cotto in 2009, and that’s the problem. Pacquiao has become a slow on his feet plodder. I don’t care why he’s lost his legs; all I know is he’s lost them, and he would be a sitting duck for a fast counter puncher like Mayweather. It would be too easy for Mayweather to beat him.

Marquez should have been given the decision against Pacquiao, and all the judges did was make themselves look bad in ruling in Pacquiao’s favor. The same goes for Jim Lampley and Harold Lederman, two of HBO’s analysts. It made them look bad in picking Pacquiao when the rest of the world saw Marquez winning the fight.
