Speaking with Eastsideboxing.com’s On The Ropes Boxing Radio, Kessler said “Andre Ward, he’s a sneaky guy. He wants to have it his way, always on his home field, and he’s a different fighter. He wants to ruin a fight instead of fighting….If Carl reads his homeward well, I see him as the Super Six winner.”

My, my, doesn’t Kessler sound like the bitter one. I wonder who got under his craw. Could this have anything to do with the with the way that Ward spanked Kessler in the past? I think it may be. Kessler was beaten about as bad as fighter can be beaten in his loss to the talented WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward in his first fight in the Super Six tournament in October 2009. It was a shutout for Ward, as he beat Kessler in every way possible.

Kessler in turn had his way with WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch last year, spanking him by a 12 round decision. Kessler is now picking Froch to beat Ward in their Super Six finals fight next month on October 29th. It doesn’t make sense at all though, because Kessler was easily beaten by Ward, and then Kessler rebounded from that defeat to beat the brakes off of Froch. Just by that you can already tell who’s going to win next month, and it’s not going to be Froch.

But it’s sad to see Kessler still appearing so bitter about his loss to Ward. I mean he should be over it by now, don’t you think? Kessler should accept the loss and give Ward a pat on the back for teaching him some things in the ring. That was a valuable lesson Kessler got from Ward, and instead of being bitter about he, he needs to be thankful.

As far as Froch goes, he’s going to lose to Ward. There’s no guess about it. Ward is superior to Froch, and it’s going to be easy on October 29th to school him.
