Froch vs. Ward rescheduled for December 17th, still in Atlantic City
By Scott Gilfoid: The Super Six finals match-up between WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) and WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) has been rescheduled for December 17th, according to news from Dan Rafael.
Hopefully, the cut doesn’t reopen once Ward starts training again because there’s a danger there. Ward has to stay sharp and he can’t avoid sparring. Provided that the cut doesn’t reopen, we should be seeing Ward and Froch together on the 17th of December. Ward is a heavy favorite to beat the British Froch, and really the only chance that Froch has to win is if he can get lucky and score a knockout.
Given that Froch hasn’t knocked anyone out in over two years, the chances of him knocking Ward out are minimal at best. Froch’s just not a huge puncher and lacks the hand speed to hit Ward with a shot he doesn’t see coming. Froch doesn’t have the boxing skills to outbox a talented fighter like Ward.
The two fighters are on different levels in terms of boxing skills. Froch is more of a primitive slugger type, while Ward is cerebral, always thinking, always planning his next move like a champion chess player in the ring.

Froch will batter Ward no matter when and where they fight.
Ward gets knocked the F**k out all day long
Froch will beat the “slick Black ” ward easily in fact he will KO him
Scott have you told ward how you feel because he might feel the same I hope you two can realy hit it off.
ward wins
Glad its back on in the near future. I wana see this fight get gritty…Froch shouldnt be so heavily discounted here…I do give Ward the edge though…like 65-35% in wards favor …decision….I’d like to see some accurate power from Froch bc I think that he’s more of a genuine champ than Ward is…I think Ward can take a real beating in there and is a bit overhyped….Peace…
