By Scott Gilfoid: Photo: Casino/Showtime – There won’t be any controversy surrounding the Super Six finals bout between WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) and WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s), because Ward is going to make sure the win a one-sided one where even a blind man will know who won the fight on October 15th.

You’ll be able to tell just by hearing Froch’s grunts every time Ward lands a heavy shot to the head and body of Froch. The good thing about this fight is the venue. It’s taking place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, meaning that the judges will get the decision right 100 percent. Ward will get the win, and the world will feel good about this decision believe me.

I hope Froch likes the taste of leather and Vaseline because he’s going to be tasting it all night long from Ward’s gloves when they connect to his face over and over again. I hope for Froch’s sake he’s been working on his leaky defense because if he comes out there on October 15th with his arms dangling uselessly down by his sides like they usually are, Ward is going to feed Froch with a lot of leather. It’s going to be one of those things where people will be asking ‘Why doesn’t Froch lift his long arms to try defend himself.’ The answer of course is he can’t because he’s too stuck in his ways to change his fighting style at this late stage in his career. I guess it’s true in some cases that old dogs can’t learn new tricks.

Ward will take the fight to the inside and beat Froch to the body and then work his way to his head. Froch, not being a good inside fighter, will try to find back but will quickly realize he’s got to try and hold in order to slow Ward down. I expect Ward to be wearing Froch for most of the night because he won’t be able to deal with Ward’s inside game and will be doing only thing he can by grabbing him like an ocean buoy.
