Image: Floyd Jr. would beat Pacquiao and Khan on the same night, says Mayweather Sr.By Chris Williams: Floyd Mayweather Sr. doesn’t see anything in Manny Pacquiao or Amir Khan, two of the names that are constantly mentioned as possible opponents, that would worry his son Floyd Mayweather Jr. Indeed, Floyd Sr. sees Mayweather Jr. beating Khan and Pacquiao on the same night.

Speaking with Eastsideboxing.com’s On the Ropes Boxing Radio program, Floyd Sr. said “Little Floyd could whop Pacquiao and Khan in the same night, but they got a little something where they got the edge. That’s what I’m going to say.”

Mayweather Sr. seems to be dropping a hint that he suspects they’re using performance enhancing drugs but without saying it. Floyd Sr. doesn’t want his son Mayweather Jr. to fight Khan and Pacquiao, saying “There ain’t no reason to try and fight somebody that’s got all the odds over you. They can’t whop you but they got the odds over you. So it’s best to leave all that s*** alone because you can’t get past it.”

Ignoring Mayweather Sr’s baseless hints about Khan and Pacquiao, I do agree with him that Mayweather Jr. could beat Pacquiao and Khan on the same night one after another. I really think it would be easy for Mayweather. He could outbox Pacquiao first in a shutout 12 round decision win, and then turn around and knockout Khan in two or three rounds in an easy fight. It doesn’t really matter which fighter Mayweather Jr. takes on first, because the Khan fight will be the easy one that won’t go more than a couple of rounds, while the Pacquiao fight will obviously go the full distance but only because of Pacquiao’s strong chin.
