That fat midsection Morales is sporting is just begging to be punched. If I’m Cano, I’m going right after Morales flabby gut. Morales weighed in at 140 pounds for his fight tonight against 21-year-old number #12 ranked WBC light welterweight contender in their fight for the vacant World Boxing Council title at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, Morales’ midsection looks very soft with visible ugly flab hanging from his sides and his abdomen covered with a slight paunch. This is too much fat for Morales. It looks like Morales may have let up some after discovering that his previously scheduled opponent Lucas Matthysse was too sick to fight. Whatever the problem is, Morales doesn’t look in good condition in looking at his waist. I guess Morales needed more training camp time to get the extra lard off and simply couldn’t take enough off in his time in camp. He’s not obese like Tyson Fury, but he doesn’t look like a professional fighter.

“El Terrible” looks terrible. If Cano has seen what I’ve seen, he’s going to go right at Morales flabby midsection and look to take him out with power shots. But Morales doesn’t just look fat around the midsection, he also looks emaciated in his upper body.

Morales’ muscles look atrophied from a crash diet. I’m wondering if Morales started training at too high of a weight and took the fat off too quickly, because he looks like he lost muscle. Just look at his upper body and compare it to how he looked against Maidana. In that Maidana fight, Morales wasn’t emaciated or weight drained. He was in pretty good shape but now. Morales must have gotten too fat after the Maidana fight by easing up on his diet.

I thought Morales would easily win this fight, but I’m not so sure now. With all the muscle he appears to have lost and still sporting a fat midsection, I think Morales is going to lose this fight.
