Dirrell: Ward will beat Froch

By Scott Gilfoid: Andre Dirrell (19-1, 13 KO’s) is picking WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) to beat WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) in the finals of the Super Six tournament on October 29th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
How true. Froch will try to overcome his deficiency of talent by being willing to take an enormous amount of punishment in this fight, but it won’t help him. Froch will still get spanked by Ward and lose every round of the fight. It might actually make it worse for Froch the harder he tries, because it will only lead to him taking a worse beating than if he backed up and decided to take his loss by using a safety first tactic.
Froch is going to lose anyway. He might as well save himself a lot of wear and tear by keeping the fight at a distance and just take Ward’s occasional spearing right hands and his beautiful jabs.
Ward will beat Froch back each time he tries to step up and mount an assault in this fight. I suspect Froch will be a beaten fighter by the 6th. The handwriting will be on the wall and he’ll understand he doesn’t have a prayer in this fight. It’s too much of a step up in class for Froch. He’s good facing limited fighters but he’s stepped up against quality in fights against Dirrell and Mikkel Kessler, Froch was slapped back down and put in place. Ward will do the same thing on October 29th by dominating Froch.

Ward will try to look pretty but draw really short with his jab and ecounter huge counter attacks, from which ward will bounce off the back foot with his head comming forwards, the Ref SHOULD start penalising ward for the use of his head(as hes all-ready gotten a cut in training for clash of heads) and set this bout back. How is ward such a accomplished fighter if he cant stop head butting everything. how did he even get a gold medal?.

Scott, you obviously have a total disregard for UK fighters or your life revolves around upsetting UK fans. Carl Froch, Amir Khan, David Haye and Kevin Mitchell are all world clasd fighters that will beat all of the US fighters in their divisions starting with Andre Ward who wins close points decisions in his own back yard, hardly an indication of greatness.
dirrell has zero fans and the US doesn’t want dirrell or his welfare clan here. let him fight for nigeria or somalia. bye bye coward.
Boxing takes heart, Dirrell has none. Try acting, fans have already seen a glimpse of your dying swan act. Although the recovery couldn’t have been any quicker if you had drank from the Holy Grail itself.
The super six was a farce, Dirrell acted his way of fighting Ward, Ward couldn’t leave Oakland, and appeared to have his own set of rules. He fought at home when the other boxers travelled, which means he always had hometown judging, hometown ref and could be as blatant at using his head as he wished. Ward will never fight out of the US, euro refs wouldn’t let him get away with such illegal tactics, so he will remain a stay at home boxer.

Didn’t Dirrell bottle Ward not so long ago? The so called problems he had after the Abraham fight were not proved and he was still training/sparring weeks after!

Perhaps Ward will beat Froch. One thing for sure is that Dirrell won’t be beating anyone becaue the little sissy pulled out of the tournament.
