Billy C Boxing Announces New Team

Bill Calogero has built a successful boxing radio show, “Talkin’ Boxing with Billy C” as well as the BillyCBoxing.com Network into heavy hitters in the word of boxing media outlets. Now “Billy C” is poised to take his boxing industry a step further.

“I have always wanted to build a solid stable of fighters from the ground up,” Calogero said. “So I’ve begun to do just that. The very first thing I needed to find was a top-notch, knowledgeable trainer who was not just a rah-rah man. And I found that with Sherman Henson from Tampa. Sherman is a solid trainer, a guy that is a throwback but can TEACH, work with both young and experienced fighters,” he continued. “Currently Sherman works with Chevelle Hallback, who is one of our fighters. What can I say about Chevelle? She is a veteran female boxer, the current world lightweight champion, and a recent world title challenger in the welter and junior welter weight divisions. She is, without a doubt, one of the pound for pound best. I’m constantly working on matches for her, but there are really no fighters out there willing to fight her. So that does that tell you?” “Then we have a few new fighters on board who also have great potential,” Calogero said. “Light heavyweight Robert Turner (3-3-1), junior middle Phil Lars, (2-2), and a couple of welterweights, Brian Meadows, (0-2-1) and Ricky Thompson, (1-7-1)”. “All of these guys lacked what we have been able to provide. Remember these names because in a year or two, they will be on ESPN.”

Other fighters are finding their way into Billy C’s promotion, and he stressed that as long as a fighter, male or female is a determined team player and the desire to win and follow a plan, they could soon find themselves training, fighting and winning with Billy C.
