Murray defeats Blackwell

By Sean McDaniel: Unbeaten Martin Murray (23-0, 10 KO’s) defeated Nick Blackwell (8-1, 2 KO’s) by a 5th round TKO on Saturday night to capture the British middleweight title at Robin Park Centre in Wigan.

The fight was stopped before the start of the 6th round. Murray was way too strong for Blackwell and punished him throughout the fight to get the win.
