Brook defeats 39-year-old N’dou, but fails to impress
By Sean McDaniel Unbeaten number #2 ranked World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight contender Kell Brook (24-0, 16 Ko’s) defeated the 39-year-old former IBF light welterweight champ Lovemore N’dou (48-13-2, 31 KO’s) by a 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield, Yorkshire, UK. Brook hurt the aging N’dou in the 10th round but was unable to finish him off. The final judges’ scores were 118-111, 119-110, 119-110, all for Brook.
Compared to what he used to be like in his younger days, it was nothing like his former self. Brook looked small and not particularly powerful or fast. He’ll have problems when he starts facing world level competition unless he can find some power and speed somewhere.
Brook has a guy was basically there to be beaten and yet Brook didn’t look even close to being great. He was tagged when N’dou would let his hands go and the lack of power is something you have to wonder about.

What fight were you watching Sean? In fact did you bother to watch the fight? This is the usual anti Brittish dribble that normally comes out of this site.
Who said that Brook was a Great Sean..he`s an up an coming fighter who is learning and put in a good performance against an absolute warrior!..Go and write about something you know about!
EDL = braindead
To the writer – i forgive you for your severe retardedness.
Sean McDaniel/Dave Lahr shame on you. Brook lookes great against the ultimate survivor. Peace x

These guys couldn’t stop him and went the distance , the guys a warrior and went out on his shield
Kel looked awesome
Brook is a Bum just like haye and khan.
unbelievable article,Brook looked excellent and seems to have everything, most of the so called authors on this site have not got a clue!!
Fails to impress? – are you joking me? … Alvarez found N’dou a lot more tricky than Brook. .. terrible post.
Fails to impress? You maybe, but then, you know nothing. Ponce.
congrats felix and matthew. great fight
Completely off the mark article….. It was entertaining, Brook looked physically big and his strength allowed him to bully Ndou for long periods. Was close to stopping him…. Certainly a lot closer than Saul Alvarez did last December. If your going to report, report honestly and accurately.
What was the under card results??
So he wins evry round an you said yourself he dominated also being the underdog in many peoples eyes hmmm.
How the hell did he look terrible if he dominated every round?
By the way, someone will point out that McDaniel wrote this and not Gilfoid, but their all the same person
Did I just watch the same fight as the author of this article?
Brook broke the guy physically and mentally, almost any other fighter who took all that punishment would have been out of there.
I am going to write an article on this fight.
no-one has every stopped him so its not a bid deal! he won every round but 1 so what else is he supposed to do??
