By Dan Ambrose: Dan Rafael is reporting that the Klitschkos have finally decided which brother is fighting WBA heavyweight champion David Haye on June 25th or July 2nd, and which brother gets Tomasz Adamek later on in the year in Poland. Barring any kind of injury, Wladimir will be the one facing Haye next, while Vitali will take on Adamek in a fight that will possibly take place in September.

Vitali may still take a tune-up fight in June against Sergiy Liakhovich or perhaps someone else if they can find anyone worth fighting. It’s hardly news that Wladimir is going to be the one to fight Haye, because it’s been talked about for months now. However, it’s now academic.

The only thing that will get in the way of this happening is if Wladimir’s nagging abdominal tear continues to be a problem for him. It’s supposedly healed now and he plans on beginning his training for the Haye bout next month in May. If the injury resurfaces, then it will be Vitali that gets to fight Haye, and Wladimir will have to settle for Adamek. The Adamek fight is contingent on him beating 37-year-old journeyman Kevin McBride this Saturday night. Adamek shouldn’t have any problems in that fight unless he runs into one of McBride’s big shots before he gasses out around the 3rd.

Wladimir gets to fight Haye because he previously supposed to fight him in 2009, but Haye injured his back weeks before the fight and Wladimir had to find a replacement. Another reason why Wladimir is facing Haye is because of all the trash talk that Haye has aimed at Wladimir. Haye singled out Wladimir to fight shortly after moving up to the heavyweight division in 2008. And now it’s personal with Wladimir. He kind of has to fight Haye in order to prove himself, because if he doesn’t Haye will probably never let him hear the end of it.
