Wladimir sounding like he’s going to back out of Haye fight

By Dave Lahr: It’s sounding more and more like IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) might end up backing out of his summer fight with WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) due to Wladimir’s talked about abdominal injury. I hope I’m wrong but the way that Wladimir is talking, it seems like he’s preparing Haye for the worst by talking about how Vitali Klitschko will step in to fight Haye if the injury is still there by the summer.
In his interviews, Wladimir doesn’t exactly instill confidence that he’ll make it to the fight. He makes it sound like an “if” thing rather than positively saying he’s going to be fighting Haye. I smell fear. I don’t think Wladimir wants to fight Haye.

Completely agree, it smacks of trying to put Haye off, (even for a couple of weeks) training for one then the other comes into play. Vitali is the stronger of the 2 but I really want to see Vladimir being KO’d, not that I dislike him but it will be good for boxing to have an athletic, fast powerful heavyweight champ and not the safety first option the 2 Kiltschkos are…
If Wladimir pulls out of the Haye fight, it´s an injury.
If Vitali looses, it´s because of injuries.
If they win, it´s never because of injuries.
And if, it´s the fault of the opponent.

It is in german news today. the leaning seems towards a vitali-haye fight.

a 2 inch muscle tear is a very serious injury, which may never heal properly. and they are merely offering haye a chance at another belt. they have to let haye know by may 1st how vladimir is doing so he can prepare for one of them. craig, you idiot, there was medical proof, which was given over to the public, just as its supposed to be. and they performed surgery on him–he has a scar. why defend haye, presently cheating with a stripper on his wife, just after she had a baby. or defend a guy who is a known wife beater and mugger….what, is it that you guys are all posting from prison?

The tactic of the Klitschkos was clear:
Let Haye sign, than bring on Vitali, so Haye cannot pull-out without beeing called a coward.
Wladimir deals with Adamek then, also this contract is open.
Wladimir will never dare to risk the name of his family against Haye. He does not have the balls.
What kind of bulls..t is that if two fighters can prepare for one guy and one guy has to prepare for two guys?
haye has a better chance against vitali to win..whic h wud be better for boxing haye beating vitali then to take on wlad wud be a brilliant night for boxing.if haye fights wlad 1st its gona be over for haye and we wont get one guy holding all the belts untill vitali retires

I have afeeling wladimir will pull out to fight david haye and pave way for for vitali to fight. I dont really trust those people at all with this dubious contracts of if one doesnt heal.
