Image: Bradley v Khan: Amir has nothing to worry aboutBy Alex Sharp: After watching the Bradley-Alexander fight last night I can now come to the conclusion that Amir has nothing to worry about if he fights either of these fighters in the future. People were talking about this fight as being the real decider for who rules the light welter-weight division well let me tell you that fight already happened back in December when Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana fought. That fight had everything and has since been named fight of the year but people still call Amir Khan for that fight which no matter what anyone says he clearly won.

Tim Bradley is a completely one dimensional fighter who uses his head an awful lot to gain an advantage when he fights. He does have very good movement and throws accurate punches when close but really he is a refined brawler. I thought that in the middle rounds of the fight he looked sluggish and missed with a lot of shots even though Alexander is really easy to hit. He also uses his head a lot and was often landing a punch or two and aiming his head straight at Alexanders and often landing it. Devon Alexander proved that the last fight against Kotelnik was not just a one off. He looked completely clueless and was on the back foot the whole fight and did not know what to do when Bradley threw flurries of punches. It was almost as if he was fighting Maidana the way he was backing off. He was so tense and looked so slow when trying to let his punches go. The fight last night really showed me neither of these guys have ever been in with really class opponents.

Last night also showed why there has not really been much interest in this fight with fans. A lot of people have been moaning saying the Khan Maidana fight got more attention and this fight was a bigger fight and not getting the attention it deserved. Well the proof is in the pudding. It was a truly awful fight with two really over-rated fighters. It was just really boring to watch. Now compare that to Khan-Maidana and you can see why there was so much more attention surrounding that fight with it being billed as thunder vs lightning. Well last nights fight was more like wind vs rain. If Tim Bradley got into a ring with Maidana and fought like that he would be taken out in a few rounds. Hardly any of the punches that hit Alexander hurt him, Maidana would simply walk him down and pound him.

Amir Khan could also stop him when they fight but I think a points decision is more likely. Khan is simply to quick and to big for Bradley to deal with. He would jab his head off and probably throw many more power shots as Bradley has zero power compared to Maidana and he took Maidana s best shots and stayed standing (just). These fools who talk about Amir trying to dodge Bradley next fight are on something. It is by far a much easiar fight than his last fight against Maidana. I think Maidana should go after Alexander next and then take on Bradley after he looses to Khan. Then when he beats both he and Khan should fight again just to shut all them haters up once and for all.
