Let me know what ya think.

p4p ratings probably mean more financially than any other rating in boxing, including the title belts”

weird you should say that…what fight did better financially: williams vs martinez (both p4p top 10) or harrison/haye (neither of them p4p top 10).

the p4p rankings are just opinions. they are a popularity contest. hatton spent years in the ring p4p list. so, obviously they are not always right. p4p rankings are b*llocks. you think differently? i don’t care. you’re an idiot anyway.

Coward mayweather should be removed also he only fights one’s a year.

    7. Juan Manuel Lopez

    8. Timothy Bradley

    Pacquiao’s no of weeks 364 = 7 years in the top 10 p4p :D

  • anon says:

has to b between the top 3 thats there i agree..the order depends on personal preference,
floyd came bak after 2 years off to beat most peoples no 2 + 3 p4p so he cud easily b number 1 now, since 1 of them called hi out n the other also called him out n people said mayweather was afraid of him,
martinez beat the best light middle,n possible middleweight in williams n pavlik.n both r bigger men.
pac cud b there jus becos he keeps winning against decent fighters, altho conditions n timing of fights seems like cherry picking to me,but hes been in top 5 p4p for years n so y not now since hes still not been beaten recently

stu…just because you dont like it dont think the p4p list isnt important. rings pound for pound list is essential to boxing and has been that way for many years. we can use it to look back at the way fighters were viewed 30 years ago….or 10…”

p4p rankings are just people’s opinions. they don’t mean anything. if you disagree? i don’t care. you have your opinion. i have mine. everyone has an opinion. none of them mean anything…and that includes the people who compile stuff like the ring p4p rankings. tbh the people who nuthug ring rankings (like you) only do it because they are not certain enough of their own opinions & need their hand held like little girls.

if you don’t agree with my opinions…ignore them. i try & ignore you but you chase me around this site trying to pick fights with me. get a life.

i think williams, because of his african american speed, actually got up, beat the count, then got back down to look for a contact lens, but did it so fast that the referee, a pacman fan, couldnt see it. williams was about to knock him out, soon as he replaced that contact.

  • jackson says:

i get amused when fans love mayweather, but hate vladimir, for the same reason, they are both safety first boxers. and to say pacman has no skills….well its either ignorant or blind, take your pick. he has great, great footwork, speed, power, leverage, balance, defense…he throws punches with power from almost every angle…do you realize how difficult that is, you have to maintain your balance, and pivot from so many angles, and do it instantaneously. most importantly, he is the most exciting fighter to watch.

  • gio says:

@angturatmo martinez aint afraid of manny, he’s a TRUE champion and if pac wants to fight him he has to go up in weight. Martinez is not gonna be fooled into a strength draining catchweight by roach and arum. Secondly, pac dont even belong in this list cuz he hasnt won a championship in its respective weight since he faught marquez. so it should be 1. martinez 2. mayweather. pac shouldnt even be on the list, tha cheating catchweight papertitle king, used to be a great competitor, now he’s a disgrace to boxing.

  • EROS says:

    @angturatmo

    I agree bro

  • stu says:

lets be honest…the p4p list is b*llocks anyway.

  • libe says:

Mayweather is gonna have to stay in jail till pacquiao retire, HAHA!

  • Punchy Potorff says:

Damn. I’m pi$$ed Audrey Harrison isn’t on there.

  • AUSSIE SOLDIER says:

    #1 Mayweather #2 Pacquiao #3 Marquez #4 JMLopez #5 Cotto

  • Nicolai says:

to all those who are saying that Mayweather should be no 1 cause he is a “boxer” and this is “boxing” and not fighting… and that pacquiao lack skills… well you could start your own sport.. “plainly boxing”, wherein the objective of the game is to “SCORE” more points than your enemy.. and that knocking the enemy off is a FOUL…

  • FRN says:

So many people are seriously dumb, who would put martinez at number 1? are you serious? was he the fighter of the decade and beating up much larger guys like pac? is he undefeated like floyd? he only really beat two named fighters, pavlik (one dimensional) and williams. im no martinez hater (i’ll prob put him as 3rd, behind pac and pbf) but the sentence at the end got to me (and some coments)
What i would change on that list is some undeserving fighters like timothy bradely, who has beaten? his last fight against abregu was kinda competitive. who the hell is abregu? he struggled against a nobody. plus he still hasnt proven anything
people saying david haye is reall really dillusional
    hopkins is shot
williams shouldnt have been dropped from the list after a knockout from the (argueably) 3rd best p4p. he should still be there bcos he is most likely the best 154-160lber excluding martinez

  • Achilles says:

the right list because of who they have faced and how they have performed. #1 Sergio Martinez #2 Manny Pac #3 Floyd Mayweather. #4 Vitali klitscko. #5 Jaun Manuel Marquez. #6 Wladaimir Klitschko. #7 Ward #8 adamek #9 Bradley #10 Bute. this is the right list because of who the have faced and how they performed. Martinez Ko over Williams is equal to Manny Koing Floyd in 2 rds. since Williams was favored in both fights and was avoided by floyd, cotto, pavlik, manny.

  • flaming dragon says:

    1- Mayorga
    2

  • zitoruck says:

    1. Manny
    2) Sergio
    3) Chris John of Indonesia
    4) Marquez
    5) Klitchko Brothers
    6) Floyd
    7. Andre Ward
    8. Bradley
    9) Juanma
    10. Dave Lahr

  • Floydie says:

FLOYD SHOULD BE #1. HE HASN’T LOST SINCE HIS RETURN AND HAD VICTORIES OVER MOSLEY, HIS BABY MOMMA & THE SECURITY GUARD. THIS LIST IS UNACCEPTABLE!

  • DeadScared says:

I mean if Martinez is the #1 P4P, who knows, Mayweather might take the bait. Or he’ll face Pac ’cause he’s no longer #1. lol

  • Anonymous says:

Will williams ever fully recover from this humiliating knockout.

  • Geoff says:

you left off celestino caballero and andre ward. i don tthink you can put klitschko on there cause there is nobody for him to make a big fight with(except haye, who is doing a floyd mayweather number by running like a whipped pup). i also dont think bradley has made the list yet. close, but needs a couple big names on his resume.

  • Tha Lou says:

Funny how people always mention Pacquiao fighting Mayweather’s leftovers, but never seem to remember that Mayweather fought Manny’s leftovers of Manny’s leftovers, and did it at a far bigger size advantage and even then, Mayweather came in 2 lbs heavier!!! And not only that, but I also like to call Mayweather the “King of the Ring-Rusted Boxers”!!! Shane Mosley came into the ring after 1.5 years out of it, De La Hoya came in after a whole year out of the ring, Judah came in after losing to a much slower Carlos Baldomir, beat a 35 year old and slow Baldomir.

  • Tha Lou says:

When is Floyd going to be kicked off too?? I mean, c’mon, we have not heard anything from his camp on who he is going to fight next or if he is ever going to fight again. I would hate to be in Mayweather’s position, because fans are expecting him to either fight Pacquiao or Martinez these days!!!

  • t bomb says:

tim bradley is well hard fairplay!!!

  • Mayweathers Jealousy says:

Klitschko is way below, should be inside 5

  • midevil says:

burgos. old man mosley? what about old ass delehoya, a beat up cotto, a beat up margorito, a beat up ricky hatton. so far only man has given pac problems, and he wont fight him again, marquez.

  • Rara says:

Floyd Mayweather Jr should be Top,I was with Pacquiao untill i noticed he’s been cherry picking & beating MAyweather left overs!

Soon we will dominate…. all u Fvckers will see!!!!

    about the article:
paul williams is the best african-american boxer there is but he faced the best fighter in the world….. it does not mean he should be out.

Anyone that faces martinez is gonna get knok t.f.o…

  • usa punch says:

man, i hav no idea how some of my fellow country men can even entertain the idea of having ward on there????!!!!! and also it pains me but there should be a brit on that list and its david haye. lets face it!

  • 5th grader says:

@TOM— TONEY BEAT A LOT OF GUYS WITH LOADED GLOVES. HE WOULD HAVE TORN UP PAC WITH THEM ALSO.

  • 5th grader says:

HES OFF BUT NOT BY RING. HE WAS KNOCKED OFF BY MARTINEZ.

  • Anonymous says:

Nine of the top 10 are lower weight classes.half these may be true in some sense ,but c,mon Mann! What about the rest of all the upper weight fighters .Sergio martinez # 2 hogwash, he hasnot faced a world class middleweight since beating Pavlik, who has no movement.

  • brianmac says:

who has the record i think its mayweather is it

  • Matt Flanagan says:

Bradley isnt a big puncher in my opinion – certainly shouldnt be above Juanma…

  • Last Boy Scout says:

    @ Matt

I see sense in your rankings but would replace hopkins with another fighter.

  • Tom says:

Achilles – didn’t margarito stop Martinez? If I recall Manny beat Tony like a redheaded step child. I like Martinez as well but lets be realistic putting him ahead of manny and Floyd? Let him fight and beat some of the best out there Bute, anyone in the super six tournament, rematch with margarito. Let’s not put too much stock in his win over williams while it was a spectacular win. Williams was the same guy who made Carlos Quitana look like Roberto Duran, Sugar ray Leonard all rolled into one in their first fight. Third I have no problem with but lets have him beat a few top guys before we anoint him the best. While not a fan of Floyd’s I believe Floyd would win a dull U/D over Martinez if they were to fight.

  • WarpedDesign says:

    Where’s Dirrell?

  • fairsquare says:

Pacquiao is 384 weeks on the list, are you kidding me? Wow! thats seven years! Whats the record on the longest lister? Why is my favorite fighter only 60 weeks? I think this magazine of Oscar is biased against black fighters.

  • Matt says:

    My pound for pound rankings.

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jnr
    3. Wladimir Klitschko
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez
    5. Sergio Martinez
    6. Juan Manuel Lopez
    7. Jean Pacal
    8. Miguel Cotto
    9. Vitalie Klitsckho
    10. Bernard Hopkins

  • Last Boy Scout says:

David Haye! come on people dont make me laugh with a suggestion as haye for p4p status. Not until he’s fought one of the klitschko’s, maybe then, well then he’s definately not going to make it is he? Not after he’s exposed as the fraud that he is.

  • Lollol says:

Good I was starting to get fed up with Paul “moap about not getting a big fight” Williams.

  • Kid Moreno says:

    Bute should be on there.

  • PACQUIAO...EXPOSED!!! says:

All it’s going to take is a fight with Shane Mosely. Pacquiao will be off the P4P list altogether. He will be removed from all previous lists once his lack of skill is EXPOSED…

  • Dean says:

Why does haters are in denial and always make stupid comments about Pac’?

  • Wright, Essex says:

    Mayweather
1 simple reason: What is the sport called?……

Exactly, he is the best by far, its not called fighting is it.

David haye should be there, he was undisputed cruiser weight and now heavy weight

  • rockycreed says:

wheres david haye on that list?

  • The Northfleet Mauler says:

The man was never on my list anyway. It’s all to easy to build people up to quickly.

  • Tom says:

Manny is the P4P king. Marquez too high they have rated him on what he has done 5-6 yrs ago. Vitali should be there as well.

  • Achilles says:

YOU don’t knwo what you’re talking about. just look at who they are facing and how they performed. #1 Sergio Martinez. he’s not beating up guys who were Kod just a fight earlier. in fact he has been the under dog in his 4 fights and look how he has handled the opposition even when robbed twice. he didn’y complain he just did what he had to he beat the opposition and beat them soundly. Pac was always the favorite in all his fights he was expected to beat hatton, cotto, clottey , margarito these fighters were coming off losses and were considered beatable. Martinez win ag Williams = Manny fighting Floyd and Koing in the 2nd rd. # Martinez #2 Manny Pac # Floyd Mayweather. this is the truth

  • FromBuenosAires says:

This list is just an opinion, a respectable one, but the opinion of a particular magazine.

  • LMFAO says:

I still have pac down as avoiding the top ranked 1-5 in any division. Sergio is the number 1 P4P.

  • bri says:

why is marquez #4 after his destruction by floyd
