Paredes vs. Pitalua on December 10th

Kissimmee, FL: On Friday, December 10, 2010, All Star Boxing, Inc, Promoter Tuto Zabala, Jr. and Deportes TELEMUNDO will return to the Kissimmee Civic Center, the venue that has hosted many of the company’s boxing shows during the past 10 years; its regular popular series of Boxeo TELEMUNDO has filled Civic Center on many occasions.

The main event is a classic battle of: “Youth Vs. Experience” when former WBC Youth World Champion Ed “The Lion” Paredes of Miami, Florida via Dominican Republic will face his toughest opponent in hard punching veteran Antonio Pitalua of Mexico City, Mexico via Monteria, Colombia in a bout schedule for 12 rounds with the WBO Latin Welterweight Title at stake.

For Paredes, it will be like fighting at home; he has fought in Florida on 20 occasions having won all of his bouts in the state and is on a 5 fight winning streak to improve his record to 25-3-1-16 KO’s. He is well managed by his Father Teofilo Paredes and trains in Miami under the guidance of Cuban trainer Jorge Rubio.

On the other hand Pitalua, is a former two times world title challenger, has won many regional titles and has collected 4 wins in a row fighting as a welter to improve his impressive record to 50-4-44 KO’s. His entire career he has been managed by Ricardo Maldonado Jr of Producciones Deportivas and trained by Lorenzo Lopez.
