Dirrell predicts knockout win for Abraham over Froch

By Scott Gilfoid: Once beaten Andre Dirrell (19-1, 13 KO’s) is picking knockout artist Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) to defeat former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) on November 27th according to news from Bettor.com. Dirrell should know who the better fighter is because he just finished fighting Froch and Abraham back to back, losing to Froch and beating Abraham. However, many boxing fans feel that Dirrell should have won both of the fights he dominated Froch but lost the fight when two of the European judges gave Froch the decision over the American Dirrell. Froch was fighting in front of a hometown crowd in Nottingham at the time of his fight with Dirrell.
I have to go with whoever Dirrell is picking in this fight, because he has after all fought both guys and knows them well. Dirrell made Froch look silly for most of the fight with his exccellent defensive skills. Again and again, Froch missed with his punches. In the 5th, Froch went ballistic and turned the fight into an MMA-type affair, as he body slammed a shocked Dirrell to the canvas. After Dirrell got back to his feet, Froch then spent the better part of the fight holding and hitting, wrestling and throwing rabbit shots while the referee stood idly by letting it all happen.

That is wrong. Dirrell did not dominate. His work rate was to low. A writer should not ignore obvious things.

I see what ur saying, Frotch will struggle if Ward starts quick, Ward has more skill and talent than Frotch.
Just for the record I have said in the past that Andre Ward in my opinion can become the p4p king. Its just at the minute I think Frotches rough tactics will unsettle him to the point where Ward cant get into his groove. Ward is a dirty fighter and i dont feel Frotch will let him get away with those tactics.
Ward is a bit over protected and needs to fight away from oakland if he is to progress to the next level. However there is no doubt in my mind at least Ward is the future of the super middleweight division. Fighting Frotch away from oakland might be a step to far at the minute.
Quick question, it doesnt seem that Ward has knockout power, (is this ur opinion?) do u c that as a problem? I personally dont.
And for the record Dirrell is not in Wards league.

Stevie, i dont think Froch will be able to handle the pace of the fight with Ward. Froch does struggle against boxers with speed and movement like he was against taylor and dirrell until he got lucky and ward will totally outclass him. Froch has no chance against ward and hell get beat.

Mr Scott Gilfoid for someone who doesnt rate Carl Frotch u sure do devote a lot of ur time and writing to him. I think the reason u hate him so much is the fact that he showed Dirrell for the limited, cowardly fighter he really is, and that really sticks in ur throat.
It also may have to do with the fact that Frotch stands a pretty decent chance of beating ur other favourite Andre Ward. The tactics Ward gets away with against other opponents he will never get away with against Frotch. (nutting Kessler was no accident, at least not the second and 3rd time it happened). Frotch will fight fire with fire and Andre wont be able to handle it.
As for this fight, its my opinion that Frotch hits just as hard as Abe, is a good bit bigger and has the heart to beat Abraham. Remember its widely acknowledged that Frotch is a big hitter at super middle, Abe may be a huge hitter at middleweight but he’s now stepping up to fight bigger guys. Thats the way I c it anyway.
