Tavoris Cloud vs. Fulgencio Zuniga on December 17th
By Chris Williams: After looking absolutely horrible in barely escaping with a 12 round decision over 41-year-old Glen Johnson in his last fight in August, IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud has found an easy mark in Fulgencio Zuniga to fight on December 17th at the American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida.
Zuniga has lost two of his last five fights, and this should allow Cloud to have a better chance to hold onto his International Boxing Federation light heavyweight title for a little while longer.
On offense, Cloud is a good fighter with his high work rate. However, he lacks big power and his defense is worse than horrible. He blocks punches with his face and makes fights that should be one-sided into close affairs. Like I said, Cloud should win this fight, but big deal.
He found an easy mark and will win this one without too many problems. I say ‘he should’ because you can’t be too sure with Cloud. He’s so hittable it’s not even funny. I can see Zuniga pulling off an upset if he stays in the fight long enough and doesn’t get knocked out again. He won’t have any problems finding Cloud with his punches that’s for sure. If you let Zuniga pound on you, he can make a fight really interesting.

I think you’ve missed the mark here Frendo.
Glencoffe Johnson isn’t an easy night for ANYBODY, and Cloud actually managed to have him rocked on a few occassions.
Cloud is one of the best in the division, without a doubt. The one knock you COULD conceivable have on Tavoris is that he doesn’t fight often enough. He takes a stay busy fight and STILL takes flack.
Bees gotta buzz, whiners gotta whine, I suppose.
