Global Boxing Announces Youth Initiative

North Bergen, NJ (October 29, 2010) – Global Boxing is proud to announce the formation of the Global Boxing Foundation. The Foundation aims to provide opportunities to amateur boxers in Poland to continue their successes outside of their home country and onto the world stage.

With plans underway to create a gym similar to their spacious 16,000 square foot New Jersey facility in Dzierzoniow, Western Poland, Global Boxing intends to organize training camps and talents to cultivate homegrown talent. By focusing young people’s energies on positive, uplifting activities, Global Boxing hopes to improve the communities and lives affected by the organization.

In addition, Global Boxing will introduce a “Drug and Crime Addiction Recovery Program” to target troubled young people in need of rehabilitation.

Professional boxing contender Piotr Wilczewski will serve as head trainer for the program, which will launch full scale in 2011. Marcin Mlak will also assist him in the project.

More information on the Global Boxing Foundation will be released shortly. For more information on Global Boxing, visit www.globalboxing.com
