Glazewski vs. Adamek on November 12th

On November 12th in Wieliczka, Poland the unique boxing show will be hosted by Babilon Promotion. The event advertised as “Underground Boxing Show” will take place in salt mine 128 meters under the ground. It will be only the second time in boxing history to put on a show in such circumstances. In the main event of this exclusive event, Polish up-and-coming light heavyweight Pawel Glazewski (13-0, 4 KOs) will clash against former Czech amateur star Tomas Adamek (16-3-1, 6 KOs) for the interim WBC Baltic belt.

“This could be the toughest test of my career but I am sure that my hand will be raised after the final bell. I want to progress and this could only happen by fighting better competition. It will be the first of many steps which are still ahead of me. I am working with new coach and I feel stronger every day” said Glazewski, who is rated as the #20 by WBC rankings.

Among many famous boxing polish names, who have received an invitation for this extraordinary event, the representative of Guinness World Records is expected to take a part in the show. He will decide if this whole event could be recognized as the record for placing the boxing show most deeply the ground.

“We are sure that everybody who will watch this live or on television will love every second of this evening. We have great main event and undercard packed of polish talents. It will be the night to remember for all the boxing fans. We put on this card all fighters with crowd pleasing style so I know everyone will enjoy it” said Tomasz Babilonski, owner of Babilon Promotion.

One of Polish most-known fighters Dariusz Michalczewski will also receive in Wieliczka an award from the WBO representative for the longest reigning champion in the history of World Boxing Organization. WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk also confirmed his presence on the show.
