Ricky Hatton Caught Snorting Cocaine

By Tom Graves: Footage of Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton has been released of him snorting cocaine in a hotel room in Manchester around two weeks ago, the man himself has taken full responsibility for the footage.
It occurred in the early hours of the morning, after a night of boozing in which Hatton was said to have drank about 11 pints of Guinness, some vodka, wine and sambuca.
His fan were extremely loyal to him, but this matter will seriously damage the legacy he created as one of Britiain’s best ever fighters.
There is speculation that this incident is not just a one off, it may well be that Ricky is addicted to cocaine and is in a seriously dangerous place at the moment.
I am sure there will be more detailed information as time goes on concerning what is being done about this terrible situation.
Lets hope ‘The Hitman’ can get out of this very dark place he seems to of lost himself in and get his life back on track, whether he fights again is irrelevant and of topic, although he chose to take the cocaine he deserves the chance to change and make up for his mistakes.

i think its funny that hatton snorts cocaine and most of you are saying “oooohhhh how sad” “he needs help” some one even suggested that its his life. now floyd gets arrested for allegations and everyone is battering the hell out of him. come on dont you all see the hate and prejudice here?

the female boxer who hatton was partying with said that when she saw him snort coke off the toilet lid she wasnt suprised because he’d “accidentaly” pulled a pack of coke out his pocket a year previous.
Its a shame and ive lost a lot of respect for hatton

Dam the knockout by Pac really screwed Hatton up what a dam shame!
I hope Hatton can get over this and let’s not forget that he put an illegal substance in his own body, he didn’t kill anyone or steal a bunch of retirement funds from old people. Everyone makes mistakes so let’s not go wild about Ricky Hattons moment of bad judgement.

Let’s not forget that Ricky “Fatton” has had a histroy of blowing up between fights. So, the excess weight he’s carrying around may be more of a return to normalcy for him (also, it’s quite possible that he’s been dabbling with these “dangerous” substances for some time now – and as the saying goes “idol hands is the devil’s playground”.
may be mayweathers jr. and sr. might be the next to be busted using coccaine. reason a thief will accuse others as thief to hide themselves as a thief so they might be the drug addicts and coccaine users. ha. ha. ha.

Cocaine is the party drug in the UK. This should keep him in the limelight outside of boxing. They relish these types of activities in the tabloids in the UK. He’s crossed over to the celebrity spotlight status more than the role model I am status.

Unfortunately as anyone who has boxed competitively will support, all those parties, weekends away, nights out, ‘opportunities’ that one has to turn down to focus on their sport, causes a huge vacuum when it’s gone.
I am usually greeted by my pals post fight with numerous cold beers and sweet treats of my preference, but the enlarged appetite I have for a while post fight is a reflection of me ‘catching up’ so to speak. Sadly in Rickys case he feels a desire to pursue something his body doesn’t need and that with the excess weight he’s packed on from what is plainly a complete change in his lifestyle could be deadly.
Let us not be moral on the legalities of recreational drugs but pity a man who win or lose, entertained us. Sort yourself out Ricky, no one wants to see a national sporting icon go down the drain like Bestie or Gazza
My feeling is that many people who achieve fame and riches turn to drugs (notably cocaine or other methamphetamines) when they “party” (athletes, actors, musicians, even politicians)…
These stories don’t surprise me in the least (you’ll recall there were stories of Joe Calzaghe and coke abuse also).
Dag! the loss or should i say the knockout from Pacquiao really drove him under huh! well i hope when he wakes up from this nightmare he fights ones more and just get it out of his system.
Maybe people will realize that people are not always what they seem. The truth is, Ricky is human like everyone else, although we can at times, as fans, be clouded by what our favorite athletes do in their sport of choice. To be honest i’m not the least bit surprised, however, as a fan of sports, hopefully he’ll seek the help he needs, if it’s a problem for him.
I dont care about these guys personal lives. As long as they are not on steroids i could care less. Just entertain me and keep it moving.
