Margarito-Pacquiao: Don’t be surprised when Pacquiao gets whipped by Margarito

By Manuel Perez: I’m really looking forward to this fight and it’s going to be nice to see Manny Pacquiao take on a real opponent for a change. I wish I could say things are going to go well for Pacquiao against Antonio Margarito on November 13th, but I think Manny is going to be bludgeoned by Margarito in the worst beating of his career.
Okay, now Pacquiao has finally been matched up with someone who can still fight and who wasn’t just beaten up. Margarito is just way too big for the little Pacquiao. This isn’t even going to be a fight. You take a guy that’s about half Margarito’s size like the tiny Pacquiao, and then you pump up his ego by throwing in some old toothless tigers for him to chew on and build up his baby teeth. And then after all of that, you then match him with a guy that can actually fight with Margarito.
All I can say is Pacquiao is going to get his teeth caved in by Margarito. This is going to be one of the bloodiest, sickest fights you’re ever going to see. Margarito is going to go out and rip Pacquiao’s head off and then serve to him. I wish I could I’m going to be sad to see Pacquiao get destroyed, but I can’t. I’m going to be happy.
I’ve been waiting a long time to see Pacquiao get torn apart and I’m finally going to get my treat on November 13th.
Once Margarito starts tearing Pacquiao’s face apart with uppercuts and hooks, the Filipino is going to look over at his corner for guidance from his old crusty trainer Freddie Roach and look for his brilliance to save him from the beating. But Roach won’t have much to say to save Pacquiao from his beating other than telling him to stick and move. That’s not going to work I hate to say.
Margarito is going to rip Pacquiao to shreds, and destroy the gravy train. Roach is going to be in shock looking at his pupil getting manhandled by Margarito. It’s going to be a sad day for Pacquiao fans who have become accustomed to seeing him beating up on old tigers. Now he’s going to be facing a young lion and he’s going to be cut to ribbons by Margarito.

Final lesson for you mr perez about Pacquiao..You said you cannot be sad for Pacquiao getting destroyed and you will be very happy to see Magarito give Pacquiao a beating..But Pacman is not like you. Pacquiao did not try to damage Margarito permanently knowing Margarito was already a beaten man. Instead Pacman was merciful at the final round by not finishing off margarito the way you want Margarito to finish Pacquiao if it’s the other way around. Instead Pacquaio was worried about margarito’s condition by asking the ref if he could continue and also not inflicting anymore damage on margarito. In the interview Pacman also said”boxing is not about killing each other” to remind us that it’s a sport and not a slaughter. I’m sure you cried because of the way pacquiao carried himself not just as a superb athlete but as a superb human being that you mexicans don’t know about.
Mr.Perez Pacquiao fans are not surprised if Pacquiao gets a whooping from Margarito because we believe in Pacquiao’s ability as a boxer. I’m sure you don’t believe in Pacquiao’s handspeed full of power, footwork and balance, stamina and conditioning, strong chin, southpaw stance, strong will and most of all, intelligence. That’s why you fall in the trap like so many believing that Weight advantage and strength alone is the key to winning a fight just like Mayweather Sr. who accuses Pacquiao of steroid use. I’m sure you are now thinking the same..Pacman haters like you will never be able to accept the fact that Pacquiao is “the greatest boxer” of all time..Why “the greatest?” because you cannot believe what Pacquiao has done in boxing..
Manuel Perez is a loser like Margarito. Assuming that Magarito’s wins arent based on having his hand wraps rigged this should be a very interesting fight. But, Magarito wont be able to take the heat.

Has anyone been watching the countdown to mosley vs mora? They called mosley the mexicutioner. I thought it was odd because Pacquiao has always been known as the mexicutioner. Oh well, it’s all just golden boy trying to hype the fight anyway. We’ll see what happens on this one cuz I’ll be watching. I think that is a good observation that you made, and you seem to be one of the few writers for this site with a pulse. But what sort of site is this? We, the bloggers of this can be very passionate in our defense of our favorite fighters, and sometimes with more prejudice than we realize, but we would also like to believe that the writers of this site are more of a voice of reason when it comes to thier thoughts……………but this is ridiculous. Some of the writers to this site have no more crediblity than the reckless thoughts of the bloggers. I have been very critical of the opponents that Pac has been fighting lately, and I have gone from being one of his biggest fans to one of his biggest critics, but I don’t even believe the rhetoric that this writer is spurrring.

If you’re going to write a biased preview of a fight, you need to back up your opinions with some facts. No-one is gonna take what you’ve written seriously or even respect it. What I’m gonna do now is show you how to construct an argument in favour of a particular fighter.
I think this will be an easy fight for Pacquiao, the key differential between the fighters being speed. Margarito doesn’t have half of Manny’s foot or handspeed. On top of that, Margarito is a come-forward pressure fighter who advances in straight lines. In a sense he’s a bigger Ricky Hatton, without Hatton’s footwork. And you saw what Pacquiao did to him.
Margarito does of course have a significant height, reach and weight advantage. This would be a major plus for Antonio if Manny was the type of fighter who stood still and traded; but he’s not. Margarito’s relentless pressure eventually wore down Miguel Cotto, but when was the last time anyone saw Pacquaio run out of gas in a fight? People may bring up Marquez and use that as a template on how to beat Pacman, but that’s assuming he hasn’t improved in the last 2 years.
In terms of power, that’s up for grabs. Margarito’s got a serious chin (the Mosley stoppage may have been as much due to Antonio being affected by the prefight controversy, as Mosley’s power) but so has Pacquiao. Margarito is an arm puncher; he pushes his shots and doesn’t tend to use his legs much. That’s one reason people suspect he may have been loading his gloves for a while. Typically, someone who arm punches doesn’t generate concussive power. It’s telling I think that he didn’t make a dent in his recent comeback opponent. Manny’s power is undisputable. You can’t deny the way he tore through Hatton and pounded Cotto.
My thoughts are that Pacman will outbox Margarito early and not look for the quick knockout. He’ll avoid getting caught on the ropes and look to dart in and out with his sharp counters and lead hooks. Margarito’s only chance is to land a big shot and see how Manny takes it. I see a comfortable points win for Pacquiao. Despite Margarito’s size advantage, it’ll count for nothing if he can’t get near him.

i have to agree to this writer in some areas co’z margorito will probably come to the ring more than 160 lbs. but again pacquiao always surprises me. it’s going to be a hell of a fight between david and goliath but so far numbers of goliath have tried this little southpaw but in vain. and in case pacquiao demolished margorito you can kiss pacquiao-mayweather fight goodbye.
