Gill vs. Turner on September 11th

Waltham Abbey based professional boxer Phil Gill will hope to preserve his unbeaten record when he faces Lancashire’s tough Damian Turner at the York Hall, Bethnal Green on the 11th September.

This will be Gill’s seventh pro fight and he has already attracted quite a following and has promised his fans that he will keep working hard to win a British or Commonwealth title. London based promoter and Gill’s manager Mickey Helliet shares his ambitions. “If Phil keeps on performing as has done and remains focused then he will win titles. He is one of my favourite fighters to watch, and i know it will be a great fight and a great night of boxing.”

Gill, 28, trains out of the Monster Gym under trainer Paul Rees and has earned a reputation as an aggressive, come forward boxer who always seems to end up in exciting fights. He is looking forward to “ploughing through his opponent” and can be reached on 07903 525666 for tickets to the Fight Night at York Hall.
