Erik Morales wonders why Pacquiao doesn’t take the random drug testing
By Jason Kim: Former three division champion Erik Morales (49-6, 34 KO’s) why Manny Pacquiao hasn’t already agreed to take the random blood testing for performance enhancing drugs. Morales, 33, doesn’t quite understand what’s holding Pacquiao up from taking the tests.
Morales has a win over Pacquiao in their first fight in 2005, beating him by a 12 round decision. A year later, Pacquiao avenged the defeat, beating Morales in back to back fights in 2006 by stoppage. Morales has had weight problems since his win over Pacquiao, and has been forced to take off massive amounts of weight just to make his weight class.
Morales retired from boxing after losing a controversial 12 round decision to David Diaz in August 2008. Three years later, Morales made a comeback and defeated Jose Alfaro by a 12 round decision last March at welterweight. Morales has taken off more weight since then and will be fighting Willie Limond(33-2, 8 KO’s) on September 11th at light welterweight at the Monumental Plaza de Toros, Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.
It will be an interesting fight while it lasts because Limond likes to slug, as does Morales. Limond should be a big test to see how much Morales has left in the tank. If Morales looks as bad as he did against Alfaro, then Limond could very well pull of an upset. I had Alfaro beating Morales by a significant margin.

Teddy Atlis fomer trainer of heavyweight champion Michael Morer and Mike Tyson, sed that an i believ thier should be stricter testing he sed its not like baseball to help a guy hit a ball futher but going upside some ones head.what if a guy comes along who natualy hits like Ernie Shavers or a young George Foreman an it is as easy to cheat as it is an promoters look the other way couse they maken big money an them type guys get a hold to some steroids they could kill some one take the test man
they sed the one time he pacquiao was tested random he lost maybe he knew they were testing and he didnt get to his stuff or maybe he sycled off sooner than he was used to.I dont blame Floyd for asking for the test becous pacquiao who has ben ko,d twice is now so close two invcible that it aint funny he eats punches like the real pac man eats power pelets from Cotto, Clotty,and others who woudnt wonder he has won chamionships at 8 differnt wt classes no problem at all an it just so happens he dont want to be tested
I wonder why a natural feather weight can brack the faces of jr midleweights who stand 5 inches taller than him with straight punches pleas forgive mis spelings im just an old punchdrunk fighter
I think Jason Kim is a Korean.
Are you related to Kim Jong Il?
Let Hatton fight Morales first then Cotto then Clottey.
If he can beat them all then maybe a Pacquiao fight is nice.
Just like hatton, morales wants boxing fans to think that his losses to paquiao might be beacause of paquiao’s use of PEDs
I say let morales keep on wondering. Sore looser.
EriK Morales cannot forget how Pacquiao knock him out in 2 matchs, Pacquiao was just like playing a video game when he crippled Erik Morales, and now Erik retaliate by making nonsense obsolete remarks. Don’t ever dream of fighting Pacman again because if you does, you will not see daylight after the fight, try to be honest with yourself be smart go and continue living, don’t end it with a fatal mistake.
Mr.Jason Kim & Mr.Erik Morales,
You both know the answer….and that is….in 2005 when Morales
won the first fight with Pacquiao that was then,that blood drawn from Pacquiao close to the fight.
Keep in mind GBP was involve on those bouts,with that;it became
very questionable the random blood test demand of Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the first failed May/Pac negotiation in which
GBP is also involve…again.
EM is a new member of the band wagon.tsk,tsk,tsk he wants the much needed attention. Are you happy Jason Kim,CW,DL etal?
All i want to say on Eric Morales is that your fights between Barrera and yourself were absultely spectacular and i among many others were very privilged to see them ,you were and always will be true boxing legends,
mugabe
They did ask Shane to take random tests til the day of the fight. The last test they took was 18 days before the fight. Just knowing that they could be tested is what makes it random. They don’t necessarily have to test the day before the fight, it’s just that they “could”. Same with Pacquiao, if he agrees to random testing up to fight night, it doesn’t mean they will test him all the way up to the fight. But they did ask Shane for EXACTLY the same testing as Pac, and Shane agreed.
Where is Floyd Mayweather Jr. C’mon! Come on out Floyd I wanna bet $2000 dollars in my pocket I go with Pacman
My friend wanna bet $2000 want to go with Mayweather cause he thinks he is UNDEFEATED he laugh at me because he thinks I would lose money my friend doesn’t understand ahahahah he doesn’t wanna bet
I’m wondering if somebody asked morales to take random blood test till the day of the bout. and why is it that they didnt ask mosley the one who admitted using Ped’s to take random blood test till the day of the bout.
@Source
Bottom line, 14 days cutoff is enough, because,
1. USADA only tested Floyd and Mosley 18/19 days before their fight.
— It’s the fact that they COULD be tested any day until fight night that deters cheating.
2. doing this USADA probably already knows, blood test close to fight, will deter a boxer’s performance.
— You’re assuming something.. Come with facts.
3. USADA through Tygart has already stated they are more concerned with the testing before the actual 14/24 day cutoffs.
— Mosley and Mayweather already did full random testing. Why would the “bigger” fight with Pacman have less stringent testing? Wouldn’t make sense to do anything but full random.
4. USADA/WADA have a big fat ZERO in the win department of HgH testing, 3 olympics and thousands of test, Zero positives.
— You said England came with a positive test? Welp that means testing works then.
5. No studies have been done to determine if a blood test will affect/hinder a fighter’s performance, off the top of my head, I don’t know of any fighter who has been tested close to a fight, only Pacquiao in his 1st fight with Morales, and he suffered from neck cramps. (taking more fluid out of a dehydrated boxer during training, would produce such an effect).
— Mosley and Mayweather already did full random testing and didn’t say it hindered their performance. Pacman had blood drawn during Clottey camp and trained the next day with no problem.
6. why is Floyd hitting at retiring and taking 1-2 years off, hh is already 33 y/o and isn’t getting any younger.
— Has nothing to do with this article.
7. Bob Arum is a douche, and margarito should not be allowed to box anymore.
— True, but has nothing to do with this article.
Pac,
Yes, I did see Cotto beat Mosley. That was a good fight, and that was BEFORE Cotto got beat by a cheating Margarito. Cotto hasn’t been the same since then. (No wonder Manny fought him)
Also, styles make fights. Just because Manny beat Cotto who beat Mosley doesn’t mean Manny would beat Mosley. Even Roach said that Mosley is too tough at 147 for Manny. Before the Mosley Mayweather fight, all you Pac fans said that Floyd would lose. After he dominated him, then you said Mosley was old.
Steroids and most forms of EPO are detected through Urinalysis.
Blood test are really only used to find one thing and that is HGH, There has been countless years and thousands of HGH blood screens, and they have only turned up 1 positive test in England, USADA/WADA cannot even claim that 1 positive, they have ZERO positives.
USADA could’ve/should’ve showed the world that a blood test close to fight would not hinder a boxer, but they didn’t, Floyd was tested 18 days before the fight, Mosley was officially tested 19 days before the fight.
HGH hasn’t even been clinically proven to enhance performance, unless you are a sprinter and want an extra .4 /sec. – slate.com
USADA was more concerned with the testing to be done before the actual cut-offs of 14/24 days, because that is when then stressed the PEDs would be most effective and used.
Since, HGH- which supposedly would give you big flabby muscles, which doesn’t translate to strength, would be tested up to 14 days before the fight, what would be the point of using HgH for the 14 days before the fight ?

@Yuri,
That may be true but that could be deadly…
Pacquiao is nothing more than a faster, harder hitting version of Arturo Gatti.
Boxing isn’t just about bravery and punching power; it’s also about hardwork and dedication to learning your craft. Regardless of what I think about how Mayweather carries himself out side the ring, he is one of the greatest boxing technicians the sport has ever seen.
Guys, when we speak about boxing, we are talking about bravery and punching power of a great fighter! I dont think Floyd has these elements to defend him and praise him just like what many idiots here are doing. Forget about Floyd. He may be thinking now of putting up a parlor business in Vegas. Boxing doesn’t need a coward like him.
Pacquiao loss to Morales but came back making Morales quit. Why Margarito?……To give Mayweather time to make a decision and hype it further for bigger returns. REgardless of the outcome there is still money to make.
No disrespect to you Pac, but Floyd’s defensive strategy is not as simple to explain as you tried to do. First of all, it depends on who he’s fighting. Alot of his defense is also created by his ability to counter punch; you left out alot of things that he does, but you might not have a full understanding of his defense or boxing in general. That’s ok, not everybody are hardcore boxing fans.
People who have accused Pacquiao of using PED’s or have questioned why he won’t take the test:
Erik Morales
Miguel Cotto
Kermit Cintron
Paulie Malgin
Nate Campbell
Pac
Is there a reason you post your stupid comments more than once? Make fun of Floyds Strategies all you want, it’s worked in 41 fights. By the way, did you see the Mosley fight? Floyd was the aggressor, so your comment, AGAIN was stupid. Floyd also has a different strategy for every fight. He feels his opponent out for a couple rounds, then he’s got them figured out, and it’s over. Pacquiao’s strategy is the same EVERY FIGHT.
@Tony again! Thank you for answering my question that’s all I need to know.
Now you’re saying that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is more skilled and technical boxer and has more ring IQ than anyone else in boxing ..Ok heres what Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting style and ring IQ strategies..
His defense are good
Quick right jabs but no punching power he only punch his right hand with just 1 or 2 hit at the same time in order to win points
and now he backs away to the rope to let him hit until his opponents exhausted and run out of energy and second it’s Floyd Mayweather Jr. turn to hit him back and backs away to the rope again and every each round
That is his ring IQ strategic plan…
Marquez says Pacquiao is fast too and he hit harder than Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The next round of negotiations between Pacquiao’s camp and
Mayweathers camp will be totally different this time. I’m sure blood testing and purse split will be a priority issue. Maybe some new demands will be added and some current demands dropped. No one really knows what the new negotiation terms would look like. In Roger Mayweather’s recent phone interview, he should of just called up Bob Arum directly, and tell him what’s up! Some articles on this site stirrs up
alot of sporadic racist remarks from both sides! As for Erik Morales, I wish him well on his 6 fight comeback, so a possible match up between Erik Morales vs. Juan Manuel Marquez can be made.
Thank you for answering my question that’s all I need to know.

urine testing does not work just as well. How do you think Mosley got away with using?? I’m not accusing Pac of anything, I’m just saying…
To all the pac-haters out there;
pac has only 2 fights at a catchweight. One with dela hoya, where he was generally considered as an underdog (search for old threads at this website if you don’t believe me); the other one was with Cotto at 145lb. Cotto weighed in at 146lb vs Clottey, if you fk’n think it’s that hard to lose 1 lb over a couple of months then you’d better get your fat ass off momma’s couch.
Eric morales;
you and the rest of the world wonder why its an issue too! hmm
@Tony,
Actually, Pac has only fought one title fight at a catchweight (against Cotto). If this Margacheato fight comes off, then it will also be at a catchweight, so that will make 2 catchweight titles. But, since Pac will be an 8-division champ (assuming he beats Marg), he would have only won 2 of 8 titles at catchweights.
So, for this reason, I wouldn’t call him a catchweight king (although you can make the case that since he’s moved up to WW, he’s been a catchweight fighter – notice how I also use the word “fighter” LOL).
@ Gary
Why shouldn’t he take a vacation? Has Manny agreed to anything Floyd wants? NO! So what do you expect him to do? Fight a worthless fight like Margarito? Should Floyd fight someone who got koed by a guy manny just beat? I’ll watch Manny fight Margo, cuz like i said before, I like to watch Manny fight, but come on, that fight is bs and we all know it.
Btw if you didn’t catch on that the article is written by a thinly veiled pac-hater, your eff’n dumb.
Where the hell do they get these writers? It’s always “i don’t quite understand”, “I think”, “I suppose”,if, if, if! Most of the articles on this website is pure conjecture. You want to know what’s wrong with the sport? Take a good hard look at most of the news on this site. It shouldn’t even be called boxingnews, rather boxing “GOSSIP”.
I do have to agree with those that say Pacquiao is a catchweight champ, and he hand picks his opponents. Or should I say Arum picks his opponents.
@Titikman,
Uhhh, Floyd wants NO CUT OFF….
@Pac
Although your question is stupid and irrelevant, I’ll answer it. I’m a fan of Mayweather. He is a more skilled and technical boxer. That being said, I like Pacquiao too, and I would not accuse him of being on any PEDs. I don’t know for sure if he is not, but I wouldn’t point the finger, or take his accomplishments away from him. I like to watch him fight, because his fights are action packed. I like to watch Mayweather fight because he is a technical genius. He has more ring IQ than anyone else in boxing, and his perfect record shows that. So yes, I am a Mayweather fan but that does not cloud my judgement in any way, and it damn sure doesn’t make facts irrelevant. I believe the fight will be made, and Mayweather will pick Manny apart. That doesn’t make Manny a bad fighter either, (notice how I use the word fighter, and not boxer)it just means that Mayweather is too technical and skilled to be beaten. For the record though, I like Manny as a fighter and a person. I like the way he carries himself, and he seems to be a good guy.
Another way to promote a fight, using Manny Pacquiao’s name.Anyway, the problem here is that, its supposed to be random drug testing, random means not expected, unpredictable. So it doesnt make sense wherein FMJ will demand any cut off dates for the test, its up to the agency who will do the testing when to stop the test, so if you give cut off dates, you’re dictating or pre empting the decision of the agency when the random drug test will stop. Now its shows FMJ is making his own rule, own term & wants to gain advantage to protect his zero record.
Just so you idiots know, there is no longer a defamation lawsuit. So that was a waste of money. Now, the lawyers of pacquiao, are trying make it a conspiracy lawsuit, which will be much harder to prove… these lawyers are just fleecing manny’s pockets
Ninja needs a life!!!!!
Find a preist and tell him yr problems, that U R been molested by Yr step dad and.. U love it…!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something to hide maybe?
@Ninja,
Wow! I guess that rant was educated and civilized…
LAST WEEK I HAD A BLOOD TEST. I DONT SEE WHAT PACQUIAO IS AFRAID OF, THERE IS LITTLE TO NO PAIN EXPERIENCED AND I DIDNT FEEL ANY ILL EFFECTS AFTERWARDS, HE IS CLEARLY TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING IN MY EYES
NSAC IS NOT IDIOT FLOYD AND HIS FANS IS IGNORANT.
@Pac,
I’m really a fan of both, but moreso of Floyd. I just prefer technical boxers (like Floyd, JMM, Soto, Juanma Lopez, etc), but can’t deny the success Pac has had. I don’t say that Pac is the “catchweight” king, or is on PED’s, or chooses weak opponents to fight, etc.
But I do say that Pac should be the “bigger” man and agree to Floyd’s demands so that we can see this fight – I say this because Floyd appears to be more stubborn than Pac and if Pac doesn’t agree, then we probably won’t have a fight (but, I do think Floyd wins this fight in the 2nd half).
Also, I don’t think it needs to be 60-40, but maybe 55-45 or maybe Floyd gets a larger share of PPV; regardless of the business aspect of the sport, I think Floyd deserves more consideration simply because I think he’s the better boxer. We can go on and on about who has higher PPV sales or who fills more seats, etc. So I choose to leave that alone.
It seems that Mayweather came out of retirement to specifically fight Pacquiao; if Pacquaio is not going to agree to the blood test, Mayweather might aswell retire or go on vacation until Pacquiao is ready to take the test.
The whole arguement is getting funny to me. Mayweather asked for a 14 day cut-off for blood testing in the first negotation and Mayweather turned it down. After Mayweather beat Mosley he said that he wanted to do blood testing up until the fight; that was in May. 3 months later, Pacquiao and his people agree to do the 14 day cut-off blood testing. Now, why would they agree to the 14 day cut-off after Mayweather changed it to up until the fight? Why would they do that? Why didn’t Pacquiao agree to it in the first negotiation? I think Mayweather asking for blood testing for a fighter he is suspicious of is ok, but I think him trying to pretend he’s doing it to clean up the sport is foolish. None of these two fighters have shown that they want to fight each other that badly. If Pacquiao wanted to fight Mayweather as bad as Arum wants people to believe, he would agree to the blood testing and crush Mayweather. If Mayweather wanted to face Pacquiao as bad as he wants people to believe he would just ditch the blood test all together and put Pacquiao into retirement.
Wow, you clearly are an idiot or a 12 year old. Facts anre facts no matter who I am a fan of. Suggesting that facts mean nothing because I am or am not a Mayweather fan is just stupid. The FACT is that Manny did not agree to a 60/40 split, and that the 14 day testing that Mayweather agreed to was for the first negotiation. If they want a fight with Mayweather now, it’s testing up to fight night. There was testing up to fight night with Mosley too, and they didn’t even go that far. I think they stopped like 18 days before the fight, but just knowing that there could be a test is enough to ensure that both fighters would stay clean. So if Pac agrees to testing up to fight night, it doesn’t mean that they will test him the day before the fight.
all mayweather’s fans STFU because your idol chose to go on vacation. excuses after excuses and what else more in the bag of that coward family.
@Tony ok answer this question are you floyd mayweather jr. fan or Manny Pacquiao fan I’m curious
I’m a Manny Pacquiao fan
which one? The answer is simple
If you don’t answer my question
Then I suggest you prove nothing at all.
@ Tony: ‘All he wants is a 60/40 spit (which Pac HAS NOT agreed to) and testing up to the day of the fight’ …
i disagree, all Floyd wants is to take time off from boxing & hang out w/ other celebrities like 50 cent & Don King
Yeah, ignore my comment because it proves you know NOTHING
@Pac,
Are you just making stuff up to make a point or are you really suggesting that Pac agreed to BOTH the blood test AND the 60-40 split?
Also, I’m sure Pac’s response wasn’t as simple and straightforward as “OK”…
@Afro,
Correct. Pac-Morales 3 was the END of that rivalry (as far as EVERYBODY should be concerned).
MORALES DIDNT LOST TO ALFARO , I WTCHED THAT FIGHT AT LEAST 3 TIMES HE WON THAT FIGHT AND ACTULLY HE WAS VERY CONVINCE
Peggers123 said:
“The last time he took a test so close to the fight, he lost the fight to Morales, so that is justification in his mind”.
@Peggers,
True, but you may recall that initially he and his Team didn’t want to give Floyd a test within 30 days of the fight. But, it was proven that he tested closer than that with Hatton (24 days out), so they agreed to that timeline. Also, with Clottey, he tested @ 18 days out. Now, it didn’t affect his performance with either one of those fights, so why the “tough” stance against Floyd?
I understand that the test with Morales was only a few days out, but Team Pac has been steadfast about 24-30 days out (and now it has been negotiated down to 14 days, as I understand it).
Morales needs to stop trying to fight Pacquiao. He is going to get hurt badly. Pacquiao/Morales III, where he sat on the canvas refusing to get up is enough, I don’t want to see another fight between them.
@roadkill- Pacquiao need rehab: Only person juicing is Uncle Roger. He will be juicing all them inmates…LMAO!!!
@Oli: Why won’t Mayweather do after the fight testing??
PAC IS JUCING THATS WHY HE WONT TAKE THE TEST!!!!!!
If pacquiao wont do random testing it means hes defo a cheat
I hope they do not fight and let history be the judge!
@NINJA: QUOTE: The ass whoopin Cometh!!!
When pigs fly!!!! hahaha! you are one funny clown!!! Circus must be in town…
@Floyd the GOAT: WOW! You have to nerve to comment on Pacquiao, but can’t answer a question about him.
ANSWER: Because after the fight testing will reveal the numbing substance he uses in his hands that is only suppose to be used in training and not in actual fights. Mayweather is aGOAT alright, he smells like one too. LMAO!!!
@misunderstood-theres many fighters out there who also think manny should take the test to prove hes clean, and also its not true that they wil always get proven a cheat, fighters have admitted to it without ever being caught. eg mosley,klitchkos.
When has Erik ever had his blood taken?
@misunderstood, Floyd and The Crack Man will fight. You will eat your words. Floyd will embarrass, humiliate, destroy, hurt, and beat down the midget.
The ass whoopin Cometh!!!
Sometime between now and May 2011. Prepare yourselves…
I hereby charge Manny Pacquaiao with the serious crime of deformation of the beautiful art of boxing, and the charge of taking enhancement drugs. He will by recieve 15 lashes of the cane, and 5 additional lashed for being association with a known criminal by the name of Bob Arum.
If you can’t beat the guy, slander him. That’s what Floyd and Eric Morales have been doing – Oh, include the flomos too. Pathetic!
“I think Pacquiao had a nice name. Mayweather started to slander him, say things like he was taking drugs. When you start running into people like that, it’s best that you stay away from them. It’s not even necessary to even have them in your life,” – George Foreman
ask floyd! im not the real floyd obviously!
@Floyd the GOAT: Answer this question… How come Mayweather don’t want after the fight testing??
Only a cheater dont want randoms! period!
@CallASpadeASpade: Old news dude, come up with somthing better like where is Mayweather now and why is he HIDING?? Or why can’t Mayweather Sr. train Jr. after Uncle Roger goes to JAIL?? OOOPS! Sorry I forgot Mayweather Sr. trained Hatton and look what happenned to him…LMAO!!!
Morales bitter? Na-ah. The guy is a true sportsman. In fact, he is more of a gentleman towards Pac than towards his fella Chicano Barrera. Erik rightfully conceded to Pacquiao.
He is merely asking the same question soooooo many people asked, “If you are clean, why not take the random drug testing?” A very plain and simple question. Pacquiao just complicated the matter by giving b.s. excuses.
What did he say the first time, his religion forbids drawing blood? LMFAO!
Then somebody asked, “Wait a minute, aren’t you Roman Catholic?” He changed his excuse, “I am scared of needles.”
“Wait a minute, how about those tats?”, “Ummm…. I feel weak when they take blood from me.”
“Wait a minute, you were bloodied in fights before but you fought strongly till the last round.”
“Ummm… Why you need blood? You makin blood pudding? Can’t you just suck blood from Buboy? He got more red goo in that plump body.” LOL.
ANSWER: ARIZA IS PUMPING IN SOMETHING INTO PAC’S SYSTEM.
But whatever it is, it ain’t enough –cherry-picked opponents have to dehydrate to make his catch weight prima donna demands too .
Pacquiao is a fraud !
Morales is bitter and Battered Boxer!… he’s a bum now,
the only reason he’s saying this to have an excuse on both loss to paquiao,…. his trying to be the first mexican to capture four division title? O C’mon he’s a BUM!
Pacquiao never failed drug test before
@DVS 1: but it’s okay for Mayweather to numb his hands during a fight and has been doing it since 2002??? Get a life BIATCH!!!!!
@Romero: romero, romero, romero…I see that you sre still try trying my little donkey show queen. See what happens when you drink enough donkey juice??? You and ECOBAR both need to get a life. Selling oranges on the side streets of Tijuana and doing donkey shows not enough for you both. How many times have you both tried to cross the US border???LMAO!!!
@ Pic
Of course thats why these journos dont write anything good about pacman, its their job to write a good story from a different angle that will be eye catching with a bold title. The only way to do that is to go against the tide and write against the favourite who in this case is Manny.
I bet all these journos secrectly support Manny and his success story they just cant admit it professionally coz it would look weak or its a story that has been done before.
Totally agree that the Pacman would def oblige if the commision was requesting it. The maywether family is demanding it based on their fear of losing to Manny so of course the Pacman will refuse to give in this sorry sad bunch – the mayweathers.
Pacquiao has repeatedly ststed that if it is the boxing commission who will require the random testing, he has no problem. But if it is Mayweather Pacquiao will not oblige since it is the same Mayweather and his family who have unjustly accused Pacquiao of taking drugs. This accusation is now in court and the burden of proof is not on Pacquiao but on the Mayweathers to prove their accusation. Problem with Chris Williams, David Lahr and lately Jason Kim is they always cite boxers who may have insinuated or said something against Pacquaio but not those boxers who have said something good about Pacquiao, the latest of whom is the great George Foreman.
@ESCOBAR & MR(S) ROMERO
Husband and wife team of idiots. You both are heading to a mental institution or better still to a jail..for making unsubstantiated accusation. Romero just became a woman of the drug Lord Escobar.
FCK FANNY PAC HO!ITS OBVIOUS THAT HES ON ROIDS.HE CAN JUST DO THE TEST AND SHUT EVERYBODY UP ALREADY.BUT HE WONT.?Y?CUZ HELL GET EXPOSED AND EVERY WIN HE HAS HAD EVER SINCE MOVING UP IN WEIGHT WILL BE QUESTIONED AND HIS CAREER WILL BE OVER.JUST LOOK AT HIM HIS HEAD IS ABOUT THREE TIMES AS BIG FROM WHEN HE WAS A FEATHERWEIGHT.WORKING OUT HARD AND WEIGHTS DONT ENLARGE YOUR HEAD, ROIDS DO.THERES NO WAY HE GOT AS BIG AS HE DID IN THREE YEARS WITHOUT USING SOMETHING.F!#$@# LOSER CHEATER.NEXT TIME YOU WANNA INJECT YOURSELF WITH SOMETHING MAKE SURE ITS FREDDY ROACHS D!@# IN YOUR BUTT!
Floyd attempted to do two things in fighting Marquez. Beyond the money issue, he wanted to send a message to the boxing world, but in coming in overweight that message was scrutinized. But he also wanted to show what a world class fighter at 130 and 135 would look like if attempting to move up, and lets be honest Marquez is world class at those weights, but at 144 looked to retain water weight, slow, less power and less stamina. What Mayweather was really doing, is trying to get the analytical eye to see that SOMETHING has to be compromised when moving up swiftly, mind you Marquez is also a half inch taller than Pac.
@ leathermitt
Mate I totally agree Floydie challenging Marquez, who is a great fighter, but an easy opponent for Floydie.
We all know why Floydie came out of retirement and set up an easy fight. He was bankrupt and needed money. Badly. But of course we dont use this as an excuse we dont stoop that low.
Just read Roger Maywether comments on Manny fight. This character is a joker and is the reason why this whole saga began with his sladering comments.
@ Escobar
Hahaha just coz Floyd has his mouth running that Manny is on drugs (unsubstantiated comments might I add) means that hes a cheat? Come on mate, what weight did Floydie start boxing at and what weight is at now? Go do some homework and brush up on your facts then we will see who really is on the roids.
@ MrRomero
Mate if Floyd wants to fight Pac he knows what to do. If I was Floyd and scared as a cat (like he is) I would make up some BS complications to stall Manny as long as I could.
Put it this way, floyd has had more chances to agree to the fight than for manny. So who is dodging the bullet?
@MrRomero Send that filipino thug into concentration camp too! For cheating and disgracing the sport.
sourgraping all of those who lost to pacman are claiming he is taking enhancing drugs.they cant accept the facts their time has gone they should have retired rather than punishing themselves and living bad stains to their legacy
@ Astig
Yeah mate they do that all the time when you voice something about an article that you dont agree with
Morales has nothing to lose in this point of his career, an aged fighter of the past who has lost his speed and power. Of course he will comment on this issue saying anything against Manny for the upper edge and of course he will be bias as Morales was down right dominated by Manny in Pacman-Morales III. Malinaggi and Mayweather have valid reasons for their comments against Manny on the olympic style drug testing of which we all know its basis.
Morales win over Pacman was sketchy and Manny was a totally different fighter then, one dimensional with no skills set. You didnt mention that Pacman dominated and knocked Morales down several times in their third and last fight before the Ref stopped the fight.
Another loser wondering why? Admit it, he lost square and fair and should not try to make any kind of innuendo to justify that loss. Stay retired,loser.
@ astig

“I had Alfaro beating Morales by a significant margin” u serious erik won that easy maybe he got tired in the end but he won
erik will look better this time now that he dosent have to lose all that weight like he did with alfaro
