Ponsaklek’s ready to fight with Suriyan

by Boxing-Boy: Mr. Suchart Pisitwutthinan who is the big boss of Nakornluang and Q Boxing Promotion held the press conference of his boxing programme at Sofitel Central Plaza Hotel in Bangkok on July 28, 2010. The main event is WBC flyweight world title defence of Pongsaklek Kaiyanghadaogym, aka P. Wonjongkam and WBC asia flyweight king, Suriyan Sor Rungwisai, aka S. Por Chokchai, that will be kicked off on October 8 at a temporary boxing stadium of Nong Hai in Srisaket Province, Thailand.

A special VTR of 9 world championship boxing matchs between the Thai boxers was showed before the press conference. This is an uncommon situation about the boxing press conference in Thailand because there were many former world champion came to join with this programme included Samart Payak-arun (WBC world super bantamweight), Veeraphol Nakornluang Promotion, aka V. Sahaphrom (WBA and WBC world bantamweight), Khaosai Galaxy (WBA world junior bantamweight or super flyweight), Sod Chitalada (2-time WBC world flyweight), and Muangchai Kittikasem (IBF world Junior flyweight and WBC world flyweight).

Suriyan informed to the reporters that this is the best opportunity for him to challenge the world title belt. He believe that he will become the new world champion follow this fight. But Pongsaklek said he will be the winner in this fight because he does not want to be the former world champion again and he is planning to continue the boxing activity for other 3-4 years before retirement.
