Weigh-in: Mayweather 146, Mosley 147

By Eric Thomas: At today’s weigh-in, undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. (40-0, 25 KO’s) weighed in at 146 for his fight tomorrow night against Shane Mosley (46-5, 39 KO’s) at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mosley, 38, weighed in a pound heavier at 147. Mayweather is reportedly getting $40 million for the fight. Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions is hoping that the fight sells 4 million pay-per-view buys. However, 2 million is what many people are projecting for the fight. Mosley supposedly has a secret plan that he is going to be using tomorrow night. He’s spotted a flaw in Mayweather’s game and plans on exploiting it. Hopefully, Mosley has a plan ‘B’ and ‘C’ to fall back on if things don’t work out with his original plan.

Floyd will loose this fight because Shane has the Welter Weight Belt,they cant dethrone Shane because Floyd will run the entire fight. It will be over by the 10th round folks The Truth has spoken.

It could be the perfect storm going up against Mayweather…. he is crossing that age when you’re not the same physically (while Mosley’s been there and dealt with it), fighting against a boxer with a good chin while having brittile hands, fighting against someone slightly bigger with good speed and power, not really knowing what style Mosley will use considering Mosley’s trainer Naz, and fighting against someone who can KO an opponent in the last round while losing all rounds. This could be the fight that Mayweather has to dig really deep to win.
It’s obvious Floyd wins it with speed. Mosley will come into the fight 10lbs heavier. Floyd will come in at a very fast 150.

Good start for Floyd to clean up boxing as he weighs 146 not over the limit unlike of what he did to Marquez.
Xylocaine is only legal in Nevada but it’s cheat to use it in boxing. Pls. no Xylocaine Floyd on the fight event. Just remember that you wanted to clean up the sport – no Xylocaine pls.
Good start to clean up boxing Floyd as you came up 146 in the weigh in unlike when you cheated JMM over the weight limit.
No Xylocaine please on May 1 fight event. Xylocaine is a cheat even it’s legal only in Nevada to use it in sports.
Random blood testing is just plain and simple stupid BS – blood testing is only good to detect diseases not steroid,peds,etc.. Urine and hair are so sufficient to detect steroids,peds,etc..

I’d like to see how a fighter with brittle hands knock out a guy who’s never been knocked out b4. Forrest almost ko’d Shane but that was only after he landed a vicious headbut Shane that may have given him a concusion. Looking back on that fight its amazing Shane finished. This fight has split decision written all aver it.

Whatever Mosley’s secret plan is, I hope it works at the first attempt and KOs Mayweather. Otherwise Mayweather will work it out and then Mosley will have to go for plan B. If this happens then there won’t be a need for plan C or others because Floyd will just wear him out mentally, he will revert to type and start going through the motions.
