Wow, at least there are a few here who believe that Clottey is no pushover. Thanks, gentlemen! All along I thought the accusation against Pacquiao was that he cherrypicked opponents, that he fought only “shot” and “washed up” opponents. Now, some are saying Clottey’s a genuine contender, one who’s hard to beat. And I agree, this will be no easy fight. Which goes to show…unlike Mayweather…Pacquiao is always willing to stick his neck on the line. We’ll be watching two evenly matched fighters, so let’s go enjoy it.

this could well be a very close fight. roach and pacquaio are exuding arrogance by the bucketful. clottey should not be taken lightly. If clottey sticks to the right gameplan be can very well beat pacquaio. If he keeps pumping out straight 1-2 or 3-4 combinations for twelve rounds, it wont matter how good mannys movement is, or what angles he can throw punches from, he just wont be able to land his shots due to clotteys sizeable reach advantage. If clottey does this and manny cant find a way in, he will get increasingly desperate and start to jump in and get caught. As a betting man i will be having a little wager on a clottey win, who is available at big odds in what will be a lot closer fight than the roach camp seem to think.

Joke coach steroid cheat roach can say what he wants, the fact is there is not a fighter alive who can take Joshua Clottey lightly, and thats what they are doing. Big mistake! This has upset written all over it. Clottey will have learned from the Cotto fight. Pacquiao will get a serious beating and if he wins it will be by the skin off his teeth or a gift decision.

Come on Clottey!!!

Hitman obviously knows nothing about boxing with a comment like that. Just another Pac-Sack rider. Pacs good, but not great. Not yet @ least. The only way I’ll give pac the official stamp of approval is if and when he agrees to a random blood test and he finishes the top 4 remaining welterweights. Clottey is the first genuine welterweight PACMAN is facing. Again no credit for PACMAN for his convincing wins over De La Hoya and Cotto. I know come Monday morning, even with a convincing win over Clottey, PACMAN won’t be given any credit as the PAC doubters will always find excuses for his opponent.

So Pacquiao’s gameplan all of a sudden is to be a volume puncher. If Margarito and Martinez were able to give P-Dub (the master of volume punching) then Clottey has a chance to win this. All it takes is, one. Pacquiao has a chin, but when it gets hit by a confident, non-drained welterweight like Clottey…yall see what happens.
